Reticle Krosherz was born the runt of his litter. He was all too small but his ears and tail, perfectly average. On Krosherz's body, they appear massive. As the smallest kit, he was not fit to play with his siblings. Krosherz spent his time researching through books his mother provided him. The topic of engineering always interested him most.
When he didn't read, he'd spend time alone in the fields aiming spears of ice at trees. Despite his petite stature, his abilities as an ice elemental were all but normal. What stood him out was his intensely accurate aim, something of a young obsession to always be right on. This is a quality that can saturate his personality.
Time passed, Krosherz became engrossed in his studies and in ways his family could have not anticipated. He put all his time in for years upon years studying the ins-and-outs of gadgetry and machines, working to advance technology for his people. Krosherz pursued his study of magic as well. He has all but lived at his university for nearly the last two decades. The school recognized his lengthy, intensive career of higher education, granting him doctorates of engineering and magic. Immediately, Professor Krosherz accepted work as an archmage and professor of his alma mater.
Life was unchanged until a series of two events... A massacre unforeseen occurred to the village of ice. The Fire Isles used their new vessels, ships repelling of flame and water to carry them safely to the docks of the ice elementals. For reasons unknown, they took many prisoners away and torched much of the village. When they believed things could not get any more mind-boggling, tears and violent screams ruptured over the remainder of his people when a meteorite of cyan and purple flames came hurdling from the aurora borealis to their town.
