Yuan is a half-elf member of Cruxis who is over 4000 years old. He was on the original journey with Mithos and Kratos to end the Kharlan War.During the present time of Colette's Journey of Regeneration, he sends out squads of his group of Renegades to try to kill Colette before her journey can be completed. In Tethe'alla, Yuan realizes that a member of the group, Sheena, can make pacts with Summon Spirits, so Yuan and the group join forces. Yuan eventually tells Lloyd that he needs to defeat Kratos and form a Summon Spirit pact with him. Yuan also tells young Lloyd about the eternal sword. Yuan saves Kratos from certain death after he is defeated by Lloyd.
