The light grew dimmer and dimmer as you stared at the red velvet curtain. Loud drums starts to play, causing you to gain chills upon your spine. As you looked at the stage you saw the curtains pull back, revealing a woode stool with a man sitting upon it. In his hands he held a guitar. The man looked up, and he smiled at the waitress beside you. She waved, fliritaiously, and you looked between the two. As you looked back at the man, he nodded at you. When his head went down you play you could see his small purple horns, poking out of his shaggy brown hair. He wore a pair of silver, wire bound glasses and dark clothing. He had the looks of a southen boy who knew nothing, but you could tell his mind was as wise as an old mans. He sighed, before starting to strum his guitar. Then before you could blink he started to sing a soft melody of love and loss. He continued to sing for the next ten minutes, until he stood, bowed and jumped off the stage. The few people in the cafe clapped and cheered for him, as he walked towards the waitress next to you. He politely held his hand out for her, and she took it without a second thought. The both walked up to stage together, as the main took his seat again. The waitress stood at the mic and started to protest for a moment before singing a gentle happy melody about a funny couple and thier aspects.Minutes felt like seconds as you saw the two sing and create music together. Before you knew it, you stood, clapping and cheering for them. They bowed and the curtains closed. Around the corner, the two came out of a door and walked to you, talking. "Baby, this is the sweetie I met earlier today. They're really quiet but oh-so-sweet. "The waitress said happily as she came walking over to you. The two stopped infront of you, and the man held out his hand. "My love, Penny, seems to have a liking to you. . .My name is Ried. " You shook the mans hand and said your name. Penny walked you over to the counter, handing you a box of treats. She also gave you a large glass of tea, as you thanked her. The two walked you causully to the door, and you looked outside seeing how late it was. You thanked them, and hurried on outside to the sidewalk, once again.
