.: Appearance :.
Tatsu takes more after his father in appearance then his mother. He does have quite a few features that could only be described as 'serpentine' though, and a mane of plumes that grows from his head. Tatsu's scaled body is a rich but light blue with flame markings of dark to light grey on his limbs and tail. His long whiskers and ears are tipped with the same shade of grey. Usually he pulls back his grey head plumes into a ponytail to keep them out of his face. The top of his face is indented like a serpents and he has a forked tongue of dark grey colour. The tip of his tail curls, sometimes folding into a knot. He has two fingers and a thumb on each hand, and two toes on each foot.

.: Personality :.
Tatsu is calm, peaceful and contemplative. He loves to read and is frequently seen with his nose in a book. He adores art, especially Japanese ink paintings. (However he doesn't like modern or abstract art.) Despite his quiet demeanor Tatsu has an inner world of a depth that few would realize. He has a very strong imagination, tends to daydream and is filled with overflowing emotion. Tatsu is very polite, and very caring.

.: Physical Characteristics :.
Tatsu is much like a mixture between a Japanese dragon and a coatl (leaning more towards the Japanese dragon side). He has dragonic senses and can see in both total and partial darkness, has a heightened sense of scent and taste (through his snake tongue), her senses are so strong that she can pinpoint where somebody is, even if blinded. Although he can see in most environments, Tatsu is near sighted, but his other senses more then compensate for this. Tatsu is immune to fire, along with paralysation and sleep effects with a strong resistance to poisons. His jaw is dis-articulating like a snake allowing him to swallow prey whole and his mouth contains two, hollow fangs to inject her paralytic venom. (Although due to the shape of his head/mouth he cannot open his jaw as wide as a snake his size would be able to.) His venom weakens and paralyzes, but is not fatal and can be healed over a long period of time, unlike his mother and sister Tatsu's venom is much weaker and easier to resist. His body is constricting and he can actually wrap himself around larger prey/foes. He swims much like a snake, swerving to and fro, and when walking tends to have a slithering gait.

Tatsu has a floating, wingless flight that in inherent to many oriental dragons.

Beyound his dragon form Tatsu does have a natural anthropomorphic form, and a natural human form. He is comfortable in all three. The anthro form is around the same size as a human, and his human form shows his mixed mesoamerican native and Japanese heritage with slightly tanned skin, small dark eyes and long, black hair.

.: History :.
Tatsu was born into the old DC with a mesoamerican feathered dragon mother and a Japanese fire dragon father. Even as a hatchling his calm, contemplative personality shone through. He took to his lessons with a fervor and learned to speak fluent draconic, english, nahuatl and japanese, and learned quite a bit about the cultures his parents hailed from.While still a hatchling a tragedy happened to his family when his father and two siblings went missing without any trace. Although young he impact of what had happened hit Tatsu hard. During the time of turmoil, and his mother's time of mourning Tatsu spent time with his relatives from mesoamerica. After a short time his mother was around again, teaching and nurturing him and his sister. He learned quite a bit about mesoamerican culture, and found a love for the tlactli (ball game) that is played there, but he developed a curiosity for his father's homeland as well.

Now an adolescent and returning to the new Clan with his family Tatsu is ready to learn more about japanese culture to better fill in his studies.
