Tigrean Revamp + Spectrum/Blacklight Irion
The basic tigreans have been updated based on your feedback. The bloodred, chibi, and darkmatter versions have also been updated to match. Thanks for your help!
But we aren't done! It's been a revamp-heavy month, why not have a brand new pet, like the spectrum and blacklight irion?

I'm so excited about the Tigrean revamp! Thank you so much for making my favorite species even more gorgeous. I fell in love all over again.
Some persons really need to keep their melodrama to themselves. I'm all for voicing your displeasure, but once it's degenerated to petty whining and complaining, it becomes painful to read and makes you look ridiculous.
I wish it had retained the "panther with tiger markings" look rather than being turned into a full-on tiger. There isn't really anything special about it that makes it a "Subeta" pet now except its colour.
But I don't own any tigreans and don't plan to, so no big deal. And I really do appreciate the artist taking all the crit into account. It still looks much better than the polled version. o/

I think people get rather attached to art (no mater how outdated it is) and aren't going to change either way. Some of the comments are disgusting, especially the one who said to kill herself, but sadly it's something I've come to expect.
It's not a good revamp unless there are a bunch of users crying about it. ;_;

Omg those irions are amazing :heart: So many nice pet arts this month, I'm still hungry for more!
The Chibi one I may have to get as it looks like a twisted evil kitten and it looks adorable. I hope the Reborn and Hydrus are just as good as they are. Love the revamps! :D
I need to comment again because the new Irions are adorable! The Blacklight one is especially nice. With all these revamps and new pets coming out, I'm more and more tempted to change my pets!

I'm really digging the more realistic look of these updated tigreans. I love the smaller eyes and all of the detailed shading in the fur, which stands out as especially lovely on the basics. I've never actually wanted a basic color pet before, but these are very tempting!
I personally Love all of the updates they have done recently. There is a reason many of us came here from neopets, to get AWAY from the too cartoony pets and for other reasons. Most of us here are over 12 -__- Not everyone is going to be happy but hey can't please everyone smh. I personally enjoy the more realistic and detailed pets compared to the bland simple versions. I didn't care for them before the update but now I'm considering getting one myself if they update the rest of them.
I've never cared for the Tigrean or Dark Matter pets before.... yet that DM Tigrean is gorgeousssss.
As for the realism, I think everyone needs to take about 5 minutes to get use to it. It's coming. It's coming with the site update, it's coming with pet updates, item updates, and all the other wonderful things that this site will become. Seriously, you'll save yourself a lot of grief just breathing, and thinking about it, because it's happening. It's called modernization and Subeta is embracing it, whether you like it or not. Trust me, I get it, I tried to hide in a hole about it and hated it (esp the site updates) but then I breathed and opened up my "but it's not MY Subeta" mind and let it go.. and it's nice here.. on the other side. Also remember, if nothing else, the HA bases will never be modernized, because that would involve redoing almost every item on the site. HOLD ON TO THAT HOPE!

I still like the old Tigrean, but this one looks okay, less masculine than the previous proposal I think? The chibi one is cute though, I think I'll change Kisa to chibi

At first it showed the old chibi one for me, so I pasted it into my address bar, then refreshed.
Holy crap I just watched it progress from sorta cute to downright creepy

I like the update on the Darkmatter Tigrean, but the others, not so much. Mine is Reborn, so we'll have to see, I guess.
... I think I just fell in love with the Tigrean species all over again. And the Irions. Absolutely stunning work guys.

Ah, I was so worried about the reborn tigrean revamp, but now I'm really looking forward to it (and if I don't like it as much, I can just change her to arid and still be stupidly happy with this).

Not a fan of the BloodRed update or the new Irions, but the updated Commons and ESPECIALLY the Darkmatter are lovely! ♥️w♥️

Love it! I really do love the new look. My Sun Tigrean looks like a Golden Tiger now. So in Love! I now have to really work on her profile. ^_^
The chibi kinda looks like a whole other species of cat to me, which kinda throws me off. :c And the dark matter one doesn't really seem to have enough purple to me?
Either way, they look fine, but I don't really want any of them.
