New User Shops
The new user shops are now live for everyone!
The limits have been raised once more and are now 750 for shops and 2500 for galleries for normal users and 1000 for shops and 4000 for galleries for gold account users. These limits are not final and will be increasing in the next couple of weeks, especially for galleries.
As of today, you can no longer add items to old shops. You can, however, continue to sell from them until the 24th, when older shops will be completely disabled. After that, you’ll still be able to remove items from them, you just won’t be able to reprice your items or have users purchase from them. There are tools to move all your items from old shops and vaults to the new shops!
For those wondering about the still active shop achievements, if you’re working toward the shop till achievements, make sure you transfer your till from your older shops to new shops to continue your progress. You can do this by visiting your old shop’s till page! If you already have progress toward the Making a Living achievement, there's nothing you need to do! The sales from your old shop will automatically be added to the sales from your highest-earning shop to continue progressing toward the achievement. If you do happen to make more sales in your old shop before they're disabled, though (or your achievement progress is out of date!), you can update your progress by visiting the shop's edit page, the same place the Making a Living achievement was previously earned. Super Shop! and Hoarder! have both retired.

Is there any way to change the order of our shops so my shops are above my galleries? That would be nice.
has anyone else notice autopricer on new shops being WAY OFF??i was alerted to it by a user with a conscience and i appreciate it then looking through many items are way below todays prices :(
So all items owned by inactive users are going to be taken off the market, forever? Meaning the few rarer and retired items being sold by active players will be priced from a completely blank slate and possibly tens of millions more than they were before?
@TheseHeights - Unfortunately, the sales info from your old shop isn't able to be transferred to your new shop, no matter what tier of the achievement you're at. But, the total sales of your old shop is saved in the achievement, so you still have reached the highest tier.
@SecretAgentJane - While the sales number isn't transferable to the new shop, the number from your old shop is saved in the achievement page.
Old shop sales + new shop sales = Making a Living achievement number

So if I've already maxed the Making a Living achievement does that mean my shop earnings won't transfer over to my new shop?

Just noticed this as well... crossing my fingers they'll have it implemented soon. :(
Now, if you could disable people from putting images in their shops? That would be great, because images too, can cause lag on the site if there are too many of them.
Thanks for making it live for everyone. I'm glad that the extra space is a perk for GA holders, as it's something that I can use and it's also yet another incentive for people to get a GA should they wish to do so. And people, try being understanding. They made this change because there was no other choice.
Thank you for making moving items from old to new shops so easy! I was expecting a headache but it went smoothly and quickly.
PLEASE tell me there's a way to get sP from a shop you've deleted? I made sure to get all my items out but left my 43M sP in there. I'm an IDIOT.
VERY displeased about the huge difference between limits for normal users and those for GA users. Being able to sell or store your items shouldn't be a perk.
Quickly, release some new, pretty and shiny stuff to distract me from all of the work I have to do to transfer all of my stuff.
Oh, thank god for the Making A Living achievment. I don't want to miss out or not get it for another few years because I had to restart when I was 4/5 of the way there.

actual sales stats do not transfer. when the achievement updates on the new shops from now on, it'll be updating it with "old shop sales + new shop sales" but you won't see the old shop sales anywhere. this is just to let you continue progress toward the making a living achievement, since you won't be able to continue using the shops you already have progress in that achievement for. so basically what we've done is we have saved your existing progress toward the achievement. and if you go to the edit shop page of your old shop (where the achievement used to be awarded), if the sp sales there is higher than what we have saved, it'll get updated to that new number. so that number will get added to your highest-earning new shop's sp sales, and that is your progress toward the achievement now. it was the best way i could think of to make sure you didn't lose the progress toward the achievement, but the way the new shops are set up we couldn't just transfer over those stats.
shop tills are different. you can transfer the sp you have in your till to one of your new shops, since that is not an over-time achievement (like making sales is), but rather a "have x in your till at once" achievement. so to let you continue toward that, we came up with a way for you to transfer your whole till.
but actual sales data (sp made and items sold) will not transfer.
i know it's super confusing, but i hope that at least makes a little more sense out of it!

Fragged so many things just to get under the limit. I went a bit overboard as I now have 884 items in my shop. I did get 196 crystals for that, not sure it was worth it.
really hoping the limit on the number of shops/galleries we can own isn't final as well. 4 is just ridiculous.
Is it safe to delete old shops or is there any chance of the overall profit dats being transferred?
@Genevra Yes everybody is getting the error message but it went ahead and deleted my shops anyway, it just took several minutes for them to disappear.
@grelca Can we please get the old alert system back for shop sells? As it stands we get multiple ones for the same shop. Or we have the option of turning them off all together. I do not mind getting 1 alert for each shop but when you sell 10 items and you get 10 separate alerts for the same shop it's a bit much.

WOOHOO!!! Congrats you guys! :D Way to go making it under the wire. I fell incredibly short (33k) but, meh, I'm surprisingly under affected by it. Que sera sera <3 Can't wait to sell all this crap! :D
Oh my gosh that scared me! I went to look at the till transfer feature just to check it out. I clicked the link there that shows you the ach being addressed, and it said 0/100k D: (I already have all till saver tiers) I about panicked! But when I went to the ach page from the drop down menu, searched 'shop' and looked through the achs, it still shows me having all the shop till tiers. What's with that discrepancy? Terrifying lol

I'd like to add my voice to the transfer "Lifetime Items Sold" and "Lifetime SP Made" being moved over... not that I can even see that information for my old shop anymore.

Ok....can't delete my old shop. Hm. Yep, just gonna wait a few days on this and let the kinks get worked out, I think. But I'm sure it will all be fine and the limits will be raised (alot) more and all that....? Right? ....right?

So I had 25 Bufy Plushies in my gallery and a few in my shop and now I have 1 in my new gallery and 1 in my shop, should I wait for the rest of them to show up? Account search says I only have 5 in total across my account when I should have over 50.

I think the most annoying thing is having to move my food gallery because I have to remake all the categories..
I'm honestly mostly just annoyed I lose my sales history. I like seeing how much I've made in my shop, and how that almost 4 billion sP is nowhere to be found on my account.
I would also like to see the filters adjusted, adding All to the category listing. Because when I search for a name, for example "bear" it automatically searches items in "None" category instead of all the items in the gallery like the old shops/galleries. So to find all the bear items I would have to search every single category.
I made a shop. How do I put link in my profile with the new shops. My friends used to click my shop through my profile.
I'm stilling thinning out my old gallery and will try to bring it down to 4K items. I think I'm at 7,500 items now. Then move to new gallery.
