Upcoming Maintenance and Downtime



Downtime Alert! We will be taking the site down for necessary maintenance and database updates on Tuesday, October 4th at 2:00 am Subeta time. We expect the downtime to last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. We will be posting relevant updates on social media and on our Status Page. We will post another reminder on Monday afternoon. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to make the site better for everyone!

@SubetaTeam Think you guys are a bit late on the reminder, glad I do have things to do other than subeta.

These errors are constant. I feel like I can't even go 5 minutes without an error. I don't understand why this issue has been going on for so long and is not fixed.
:( i got an error page during autopricing...it didnt autoprice and it wont let me do it again

repairbot is cute, i hope the downtime will fix the errors because overhauling the shops and galleries and dismantling peoples hoards sure didn't fix it lol

The sooner the better, please. The 502s/504s seem worse again than it has been in the last couple days, for me right now. I can't click on anything without getting one, then I have to refresh like 10 times to get the page I wanted.
Please do the manteinance job earlier than Tuesday, today it's almost impossible loading any page without having tons of 502/504 errors. ;_; PLEASE! ;_;

Okay, guys, this is it! Whoever is awake at 2 a.m. Subeta time, this is our chance to get some sleep, do the laundry and/or winterize the house. Between the plot, the pirates, Alegarden, Morostide and whatnot, there won't be much time left for doing adult things XD

Oh don't get me wrong, I fully understand the concept! but i play on another game, for example, that takes their servers down weekly/bi-weekly for 2 - 6 hours at a time and doesn't compensate its users. It's routine maintenance to keep things running. Granted, in that case the difference is potentially that it's a monthly subscription to play whereas GAs can sometimes only be weekly (which does impact the dollar return on hours, admittedly), but again it's a short amount of time when traffic is low and it helps keep the site/service running.
I personally don't feel like I'm "not getting my money's worth" in the slightest, in either cases.

@FireFlea, personally, a 4 hours downtime when Subeta is at it's most quiet doesn't merit a GA compensation. Yeah it's sad if you are the few person that can only log on during these 4 hours... and then yeah ok, case by case.
But giving a day for everyone when most likely that person woudn't even be online... nah sorry

I only mentioned this because gold accounts cost real money; it's purchasing an upgraded service from someone (just like any other business if you were to get a paid membership). It's just polite business etiquette to offer even a mild compensation for these sorts of problems. That's all.

I for one am very supportive of this, and i would also support more frequent, little bouts of maintenance if it would help keep everything running smoothly. I don't think compensation for GA users is necessary at all if it only lasts the predicted 2 - 4 hours.
my only qualm is world of warcraft also does their maintenance on tuesdays and if these overlap i may have to indulge a 3rd hobby somewhere between 2 - 8 in the morning if i'm awake.

Okay, so maybe after that you guys will stop ignoring the boards asking about wardrobe and what staff is doing to fix all of the errors? It would be appreciated.

Not to be "that person", but will there be compensation for the down time, especially for those with gold accounts? Since we are paying actual money for a service that has been very faulty recently and now must endure a downtime (yes, I understand it must be done to improve the site, but still), it would be very much appreciated if there was some sort of compensation, even if it was just very minute. Perhaps all quests on weekend status for this weekend? Just a thought to consider.
