Archan Revamp!
The archan has been revamped, and is now available in aqua, cherry, silver and vibrant!

Ah crap, now the twilight one changed and they took away the beautiful big aqua eyes. Guess I'll have to start looking for another species to make my midnight. Darn.
Amazing revamp! I've always loved my Archans, but now the musculature of the basic pose makes sense for a leonine creature. I think I need a Silver in my family, at the very least..., but, who to change?
An improvement in every way! The Archan looks more proud and tough now, perfect for a lion. Sheeta next!?
Woah, really Archan looks awesome now (well i dont know if someday will change too my pet colour its a Blacklight Archan).

Not a huge fan of its left front leg -- the 'shoulder' joint looks a bit swollen, and not in a beefy, muscular way XD

This is a really nice revamp. Subtle but refreshing. And I really like it in Aqua and Vibrant.
I like both the old and new as they're still pretty close, but I do prefer the larger eyes on the older version. The new one's eyes look partly closed.
the angle on the muzzle is a smidge off but I'm willing to forgive that for how much BETTER this looks overall. it looks much less cramped and hunched and the anatomy in the body is so much nicer. the eyes are definitely improved and the colors seem a lot more cohesive.

I guess the revamp does make the tail tuft look a lil bit off, but I think that's more due to the actual pet design than anything lol, the.. curl? of the tailfluff at the base feels more obviously Anime Animal Design than Anime Stylistic Choice now.
this revamp makes the archan look waaaaaaaaaaay more like a lionthing rather than just a... maned something-or-other, the... antennae??? (what are they) look so much better, anatomy is a big improvement
I really appreciate that it isn't scrawny-looking, from what I have seen of lions they don't have as much of an abdominal "tuck" to their shape as, say, a healthy weight house cat (at least not without being starved-looking lol)
I like how it looks SO much more sturdy and strong and. what even was going on with the hind area in the previous version. I'm glad that was fixed lol. Shading is gorgeous and the colors are sooooo much better. a good revamp

I like the anatomy fixes.. what I don't like is the head/face. The muzzle sadly looks like it's slightly at the wrong angle oO It's still not a species I'd get in regular colors
YEEEEEEES now the Archan looks super badass. I'm loving all the love the Subeta pets are getting.

Oooo. They look, hrm, how do you explain it? Not tougher, maybe prouder? Like, more like a lion. I also do appreciate a bit more space between each leg. I've never had a pet plan that matched up with an Archan unfortunately. Lions are really rad. Of course, it does make for different opinions on someone who owns a base color Archan vs someone who doesn't.
Maybe the legs could be be seen as a bit too bigwide, but I'm really not knowledgable on proper anatomy... But other than that, that's the only measly critique I have that comes to mind. I adore it otherwise.

Excellent! This revamp has been a long time coming. I like that they look a little chubbier and less like SHREDDED MUSCLEBEASTS, makes 'em actually look like they've got real muscular strength instead of muscles built for aesthetics.
Holy dang that vibrant one though is gorgeous as all heck. Dang, I want an excuse to get one now. Oh my gosh.
Archans were one of those pets that I kind of half wanted, but didn't like the art. Now I have no restraints about having one.
the back paws throw me off a bit into think it has 4 toes instead of 3 on the right frontal paw
The art is great, but the pose looks like it's leaning back a bit and the expression seems like it's perplexed, making it seem like it's going "wtf?" Very different from the pose before, which seemed more like it was about to pounce.
a huge improvement! have been waiting for this for a while, glad my archan isn't an eyesore to me any longer.
I love everything but the face. I think it's because the old one had the archan looking directly at us with its eyes (so it looked more fierce) while the new one is looking off yonder?? that's the impression I'm getting from the new one anyway
This species still looks disproportionate to me, and I do wish that another toe was added to the feet. Overall though these are an improvement.
It's always interesting reading the comments on these. In some cases I have to wonder if these people are even looking at the same images. I do see some minor issues that no one else has mentioned. But I don't know if there's any point in pointing them out, assuming this is the finalized version and won't be changed any time soon. And I'm NOT seeing most of the issues others have pointed out. And how does the old one look even remotely fierce? To me it just looks kinda goofy and lopsided, especially next to the new version. Overall, the new version may not be perfect, but it's definitely a big improvement over the old one.
Also, one of the very few vibrant colored pets that I actually kinda like...Could do without the green-yellow though.

Yessss, I've wanted to see this for so long. This fixes basically all the problems I had with the old version, so I'm pretty happy. :)

Wow. I never realized I didn't like the archan! D: But now that I've seen this revamp, the old version would just not do! I agree that maybe the tail could use some fluffing lol and I'd be interested to see what it looks like with the back and hind legs 're-muscled' but I really just love this new version. ^_^
