Archan Revamp!
The archan has been revamped, and is now available in aqua, cherry, silver and vibrant!

As someone who hasn't been around very long, all I can say is I think those are gorgeous. I haven't really had any encounters with the old ones, else the two I've seen posted here and I prefer the new.
Eh. I can't say I care for it. Overall its an improvement to the old, but something is still off to me.
The one front leg (viewer's left so Archan's right?) seems incredibly swollen? Like to the point there would be very little flexibility to the joint. The toes just make me think of Tom from Tom and Jerry when he gets his paws shut in windows...where he pulls them out and his fingers/toes look like they've been replaced with cherry tomatoes. The chin/lower jaw throws me off too, but I don't know how to explain it.

@Arkanea I feel like that's been a problem with a lot of these updates! The art is undeniably far better, but it's also stiffer. It's like Classical Greek statues vs Archaic (Archaic were stiff statues and Classical were more relaxed like how humans actually stand).
Lovely revamp! Just need the captcha to update so I can see the sun archan correctly. lol. Def good to have fixed that back leg and I def like the face more now too. =D
The body is waaayy better now. The only thing is it now looks like it has an underbite or something?
I'm glad the twilight still has the big aqua eyes and the chibi didn't change. The aqua one is pretty.
Ahh noooo... it looked challenging before, now it looks like... doesn't look like much, more like it lost a bit of its personality
Can't say I love the revamp. The Archan looked so much more powerful before. Now it just looks... well, fat. (We're having a reverse Tigrean scenario. I don't frigging believe it. XD) It also looked like it's paws were supporting it's weight. That one left leg (on our right) looks kinked at an odd angle, as does that ear. Looks like it lost some of it's confidence and you can't really see it's fangs anymore either.
Ah well, at least the Sun Archan isn't that red monstrosity it was originally.(Though now Jasper might need a species change.)

It's so much more cute and fluffy now! The face is so much better, and the mane is so soft and fluffy.. and it looks more like just a huge beefy space lion instead of a scary double-muscled monster lion.
YES! MY BABIES! Seriously my favorite pet on this entire site so I am ECSTATIC to see this! An amazing and gorgeous improvement!!

I like the warmth of the common one now but I honestly preferred the old face. I guess this is one pet I can cross off my "to get" list now lol
the shading is improved. i do prefer the ribbony head things on the old one, but i do enjoy the improvements.
Not a fan of the shading or the muzzle, but it doesn't affect me anyway, so whatever! My only Archan is Glade. c:

I'm incredibly disappointed. I loved the way my Golden Archan looked before. She had such a sweet face and her purple eyes were gorgeous. :( </3

But on an unbiased note, the artwork is fine. The coloring is better! But I can see, like other people, issues with muzzle alignment/structure.

umm there's something incomplete with Common and Twilight 's eyes and stance. are you sure you have the correct version?
Only thing that looks off to me is the nose/mouth/muzzle area. I think what I preferred specifically is the narrower lower jaw it had? Ah and actually like someone has mentioned, the tail fluff seems very rigid. But, WOW! The rest is really improved!! Completely changed from the kinda playful pre -pounce stance into a very solid confident one. Love that mane. Very nicely done. Not sure if this will eventually affect the Sweetheart Archan, but I had been planning to switch to another color before this anyway.
pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease let the angelic and reborn revamp happen soon ;A; I love archan and have both, but they need MASSIVE fix-me-ups. I potioned Cullen and Alistair in the hopes that one day, the species would be revamped and they'd look amazing.
Likes: the higher back, the fiercer expression.

I love this revamp. Before the Archan seemed to be cowering a bit, now they are proud to be their species. Heads held up high, tails swishing regally.
I like most of this, except for the tail tuft. It looks like a piece of plastic dangling off the end, not fur.
