Quest-A-Thon: Coming Soon!
Are you ready to quest because we’re having another Quest-A-Thon! Starting at 12:00am on August 20th you will have until 11:59pm on August 27th to complete 1,000,000 quests.
During this time, you will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Just a reminder that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests.
For those who have brought up Sarah’s quests in the past, we will be updating her quest a bit. More information to come when we start the Quest-A-Thon.
Once the Quest-A-Thon starts, you’ll be able to see everyone’s progress with a status bar on the news page. If the goal is completed, everyone that has participated will receive 1 new pet slot, the forum title “Sir Quest A Lot”, 5 Raffle Tickets, and 1 Referral point!

I wish there was a minimum number higher than 1 :/ Like do at least 10 quests from each quest NPC AT LEAST. No effort events are disappointing for people who really hustle and put the time in.
The timing is absolute worst for me as I'll be busy moving next week, but I'll try to participate as much as I can regardless!
Nice! Just as soon as I got off hiatus, too. <3 Pet slots are good. I'm impulsive as heck. :V

Hmm, I hope we can make that goal with a certain number of us missing out completely on at least a couple days of this because of the eclipse. Maybe not many Subetans will actually be traveling for that but I know I will...and it sounds like I'll be lucky to have cell service at all, let alone an ability to do quests. Oh well, good luck to us all!

but it is going to suck when people get upset over people "not deserving" the prizes if/when we're down to the last day again. :(

I hope that she decides that she'll still give us rich jerks some quests and take our items, but she won't give us anything in return. In fact, she could be the Anti-Saggi and ask for expensive items and still give us nothing, other than one more completed quest.
I'd be cool with her just straight up taking money from us too, if it counts. :P Then, we won't have to hide our vast riches from her, where she can't tell we have it, and we'd be getting nothing out of it, other than a job well done. haha.
And,

Hate to be a killjoy but not even a few months ago during the last Quest-A-Thon, we struggled just to make 750,000. Now we have to reach a million? :cry:

Very happy that there's another QaT happening! I was just lamenting the other night that I'm gonna need more pet slots again.

Oh darn! I'll be gone August 20th and 21st for the eclipse but I'll be back to help on the 22nd forward.
@Amber I'd forgotten about that. I don't mind the increased rewards and maybe doing 1 million quests won't be too bad that is if my internet cooperates especially on Eclipse day. I'm in the path of totality and rather dreading all the increased traffic. But either way it will be fun!

Another questathon so soon? I'm excited! This time I'll have lots of free time (hopefully), and I might cash a gold account medal just so I can get lots of extra quests done!! I can't wait! c:

Wow! 1,000,000!!! That's a bunch. I hope there will be an increase in the # of quests done to qualify. It's never seemed quite fair that you got the prizes if you only did 1 quest.

@crashingnightingales You guys have done 750,000 a few times in the past though. And have actually done more than that before (that's not the highest goal we've had before). With the increase in prizes (some requested by users at that!) I think more people will be interested this time around too :)
Yay! So it begins again! Not thrilled about the increased goal 1 million quests seems a bit much considering how much of a challenge it is to meet the 750k goal.
