Last month marked five years since my tabby passed away... I get that the last meal is not in reference to the cat, but the fact that it's even a tabby and the timing I still can't help the association. I definitely need this for my HA when I can get some csc saved.

I also came here wondering about the last meal description. It seems REALLY specific, beyond the general "cats sensing your death" thing.

I'm not sure it actually matters what was intended, if the text in the item description touches your heart. The kitty in Last Meal looks like my first kitty that was actually my kitty after I moved away from home. I miss her so much I had to have it.
Also, honestly, I'm happy to have a cat item with a description that's not full of well-meant advice on how one should adopt, care for or think about getting a cat. I honestly don't need to be reminded of the problems black cats face in the shelter system when I come here for a break after doing cancer and trauma case reviews; if you're going to pull on my heartstrings when I visit my Happy Places, please do it like this instead.

Was hoping staff would step in and explain this but that didn't happen. That folklore is exactly what I thought when I read it b/c it wasn't the cat's last meal, it was about what the person ate who was going to die. It also says "eerie" and "all-knowing" - which are also descriptions in cat lore.

Nope nope nope, not reading that Last Meal description. Read the name and three words of the description, saw the overlay, and I'm already trying not to cry. That said, the overlay is precious and I may actually spend some CSC to get that sweet little cat.

People are misunderstanding that the Last Meal item isn't about a dying cat. It's YOUR last meal. What was meant to be eerie backfired greatly. (I do admit I was a little confused at the description at first, myself, though.)

The moment I saw the camcorder I gasped. The Blair Witch is my FAVORITE movie EVER!!! I even got to meet and hug James Allen Mccune (The main guy from the 2016 version)...I don't think you realize how happy you've made me, whoever the artist for that item was! I love you!!

For the love of god Subeta WTF are you doing to me! I just log in look at the collection and end up in tears, again! Last Meal just killed me especially seeing as my Ziggy has to go in for a needle biopsy next Monday, he's 13 years old now, still young for an indoor cat but this lump.... STOP. MAKING. ME. CRY!

Love the silver color hair and the camcorder. And had to get the book for my book gallery. But the kitty is SO sad and she actually looks like 1 of mine. Crying. :(

Last Meal, oh heavens. You all made me cry. Been exactly 3 months to the day since I had to say goodbye to my own sweet grey tabby cat. Had to have that item because it reminds me so much of him. Don't appreciate the tears, but do thank you for the lovely item.

Its like you sent someone to draw the old house at the end of my road. The forever leaf littered path to the door, the weather beaten white painted wood siding that's turned a dingy grey... it looks like you've even got the rock wall. The only thing missing is the equally as aged weather-worn red barn that sits behind the house that's been empty for so long that, if I remember right, my mother doesn't remember it ever being occupied.
But everyone has one of these in their neighbourhood. So its just a coincidence...right?

@ScoutHiro you have to buy the collection bag - the white one on top, from the cash shop. then, go in your inventory and open it, and choose the item you want. i hope this helps ;) if not, feel free to comment me ^^

Wow... is not only beautiful it freaks me out a bit because it looks eerily similar to my grandma's house. Same color, shape, overall look... and it too was surrounded by woods and also very haunted. My grandma had so many encounters with the paranormal in that house and I had some experiences myself that I'll never forget. One of which involved my cat reacting violently to something unseen in a room where (I later learned) the Ouija had been dappled with. I do believe animals, especially cats, are sensitive to the paranormal. Love the kitty wearable too! This month's collection was worth the wait, absolutely beautiful and it puts me in the perfect Halloween mood!

Dude, that backdrop. Sometimes the artists on here just blow me so far away I don't think gravity will ever pull me back down.
The Last Meal though. :'( We just lost our oldest cat this week. We knew he was going, he was a rescue with a lot of health issues but no matter how much you try to prepare yourself it doesn't help. I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore but we (humans and other kitties of the house) still miss him greatly.
