I dunno what horror movie was the inspiration for the corn husk background, but it makes me think of the Twister movie.
I hate chance bags - especially ones with such a HUGE number of items t get from the chance. So I will probably never get one of those headless butts but at least the bgs are not from the BHH or otherwise super hard to get because they are beyond amazingly gorgeous! That raven statue is so perfect, though the perspective seems crooked and I bet a similar CW might have a hard time getting approved. I personally love it as the angle gives it a more spooky feeling.

looks like they needed a way to hide the HA's legs/feet! all the others are covered by the animal's tail/body, but since the okapi is standing/has no tail, they needed something else to hide it with :B

i'm gonna explode, there's an actual striped hyena item that isn't a cwc product, and i had enough money to get one of the two up for sP. striped hyenas are my spirit animal/patronus/fursona/etc, and i have a tattoo of one, they're so important to me, so thank you, subeta, for the yeen butt!

I'm really disappointed that the Okapi item includes the vines near its hooves, it really detracts from the art and actually makes it look a little confusing with the Okapi's natural stripes :/

These are all gorgeous! But I'm curious why the Okapi includes plant life while the others are all only the body... it kind of limits the layering possibilities with the plants being there.
I have a feeling the some of the backgrounds take inspiration from spooky media, the old corn husk feels like the postcard/picture from Until Dawn. Especially with the description mentioning an "uncomfortable" feeling. Does anyone have a guess to what the other bg's could be?
Wonderful items -- I bought 3 of the backgrounds for now. Later I will buy more of the lovelies. Thanks to all who played a part in making this happen.
Oooh, I like the animal torsos, so creative!
Though the bat's legs seem to be more like a cat's or fox's. (Bats have funny backwards legs and feet unlike other mammals so they can better land and take off while upside down)

Bought five of the trunks, didn't get any of the new items, but I did get one of the items I've had on my WL for a long while!
I'm honestly kinda disappointed that the Hyena one is a Striped hyena and not a Spotted hyena.. there could've been some fun with having the spots continue up the body like the Zebra item's stripes! That, and (obligatory Spotted hyena joke).

Wow the art on the backdrops is bEaUtIfUl :heart: I'm scared to look in my wardrobe to see if anything else lives up to it so I could actually make outfits with any of them...
