I for one am glad that Subeta not only references real life events but is consistently on the right side of whatever's currently going on.
These masks are cute. I also forgot the fabric masks exist so I'm going to check those out now.
IRL, everyone should (and CAN) wear a mask! Hopefully more places enforce it (and also knock those fake "I can't wear a mask" cards out of people's hands :)).

I designed a shirt on ZAZZLE that will get here next week and I will wear it when I step out with my mask for all the people that miss my fabulous face. XD

lol Subeta has never shied away from referencing unpleasant IRL stuff. The masks are cute and a good reminder to be a responsible, considerate person in the real world. At least here, if your HA isn't wearing one because you don't like 'em, you won't kill grandma or your immuno-compromised neighbor.
I was freaked out by seeing people wearing masks because of the forced eye contact, but now I'm becoming desensitised. And I feel self-sconscious about wearing one, so I get around it by hiding my own eyes with sunglasses, and wearing a scarf over my face, so I can still be safe but also feel better about it. I'm also considering having a picture of myself either on my phone or on a piece of paper so if people are that bothered about not being able to see my face, they can look at the picture. What I'm trying to say is that I've found ways to cope with the things that bother me, and so can other people. Because it looks as if masks are here to stay, even when this virus isn't a big threat anymore people may still wear them for fashion or other health reasons.

Subeta always try to be aware of the real life problems and remind people to stay safe. I love them, and now I can make an outdoor avatar matching how I leave to make groceries. Stay safe everyone!
My personal opinion: I come to a virtual site to enjoy it, to have fun and to forget about the fucking ugly real world, especially now. HATE THEM in real world because they took our smiles away, I do not like seeing them here too! I want to forget for a few minutes that no one will ever give us back a whole year of our lives while praying it is only ONE year...

yes, how dare subeta hint to their user base that they care about our health and are adults and humans too, who just want everyone to feel a sense of togetherness and community to lean on in times of struggle such as this.
Everyone can choose themselves how to interpret these, but in my opinion as someone belonging to the high-risk group due to a chronic illness, it's a great reminder for people to do the right thing irl!
@ColdDragon @Cassiopaea Just because you have issues in the real world with what is going on doesn't mean these new items are trying to make you feel worse. You should try candy crush, solitaire or one of the many other places to play mindlessly.
Because 24/7 COVID hell isn't enough in real life. Let's bring it into one of the few place you can escape. Super Fun!!!
