@Valiska Ugh I know it. I'm glad your stepmom's no longer teaching too. xD My dad was diagnosed with cancer last year and while he's doing pretty good since they caught it so dang early, I was extremely upset to hear he was gonna go back to teaching in person. Too risky. We managed to talk him out of it, otherwise I'd be getting absolutely no sleep at night. xD Fortunately he was not the only one to refuse to come in person and their district went remote despite horrible politicians pushing for schools to open in person!

We sometimes add past collection items in the free shop, sure, but we always have the items not in donation presents (because they don't have a box) in the Hustler CS pool. :) That includes that star balloon.

I've never heard of the Free Shop only stocking collection items from the same month it's open. I have no idea how they decide what to fill it with though.

@Terra @Cassandra I only found that out recently when I wanted to buy an August 2005 item (the Star Balloon because it's part of the balloon achievement, I guess I'll have to borrow it along with the 100k balloons), is there really no other way to get them? Because correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Free Shop only give away collection items from whichever month it's open during? I'm sure I recall only getting January collection items from where when it was open in January this year. If there isn't another way to get them, there should be, so I hope the staff will take htis into consideration.

It might have something to do with the way the donation presents used to work. From July 2005 to May 2006 when you opened a present, you got that month's items, no matter what month you actually bought it in. Now all the unopened presents from that time span just have the stuff from May 2006 in them. They would probably have to rework some stuff to get them to act the way the other presents/collections do.

Shoutout to all the teachers who said enough is enough and refused to work in unsafe conditions this year. It made a huge difference in my area- more schools opened remotely instead of in person. The USA treats public school teachers (and kids) terribly- I know this from my handful of years teaching and my dad's three decades teaching- standing up for public safety made a big difference. <3
