I, the ever amazing and one TRUE scientist of Subeta, have been having success after success recently. Much better than that other so-called scientist who hasn’t had a successful result in YEARS. I’ve been working on some equations, and I theorize that, based on the results of the experiment-turned-Qrykee, I will be able to develop one of my experiments into a full-fledged pet species. Yes, yes, I know it was only possible with the Qrykee due to its connection to the Sewer Beast and evolutionary form yadda yadda but they don’t call me a genius for nothing! I’ve been studying the DNA, and I think it could work. As a matter of fact, I've already picked out the 5 experiments I believe it has the biggest potential to work on.
But as always, I need funding to proceed! I can’t just zap sP, you know. Well, I know I can zap certain things INTO sP but I’d have to get hold of those things first, which costs sP, and to be quite honest I’ve turned too many things into dust on my quest to fund myself. So I’ve decided to set this up as a kind of poll, except you donate for the experiment you most would like to see made into a full pet!

Honestly, it would probably encourage me to dump a lot more sP in to this if I could see the results? Like ... if my squid isn't close to winning, I'd rather keep my pixel currency, but if I can see how it ranks, if I can see how close it is, I'd dump a lot more, which is, obviously, the goal

I honestly just want to say thank you for this opportunity, this is beyond amazing and I don't care the outcome. There is no wrong choice when it comes to making a experiment pet into an actual pet. They all deserve it and I'm just happy it's a thing in general.

Someone should add a text box so we can type in an sP value. I am willing to donate a bunch of sP since I don't play much anymore, and would rather it went back into..the ether? since staff are always about finding new ways to sink sP. I like this idea a lot, but clicking over and over again is a pain in the butt!
#870 is the best! I like the blob, but I'm not sure how it will look with all the colors. I'm going with 870!!
@Amber Thanks for addressing my comment! I understand, it just also kind of rubs me the wrong way perhaps because there is only one winner (NOT that I even want there to be more than one here). I do know it's not necessarily easy to integrate currency sinks gracefully into a game, and there will always be people who just didn't like it no matter what you do. So my goal is/was not just to blindly criticize or assert that a poorly thought out choice was made here.
In the interest of not just being a naysayer: Although there is not, that I have observed in any game in my life, any way around the fact that people with more time to play can amass more currency and thus have a bigger impact on competitions, there's generally something rewarding for me about the "fight", regardless of outcome. For instance, my team lost REALLY badly in the snowman building competition (which was sort of like a voting process I suppose), but I had genuine fun participating in that mini event. I'm not asking for everything to be that work-heavy for staff, mind you, I just wanted to provide a point of contrast.

I think it would be hilarious if there was no colorfill-only version of the 5162 since it is a blob and so morphable. It may take years for it to get all the colors because of this but it'd be fun.
A glacier 5162 would be a novelty ice cube. A galactic one would be indistinguishable from the cloud it's in. A Nostalgic one would be a tub of goo TM or just a lump of coal. A gold one would be a cube of pyrite. A cream one would be an aggie marble. A vibrant one would look like an oil slick.

Hmmmm you blob loving folks have me reconsidering. Think of all the different types, and how its simplicity could allow for so much creative freedom in the glade, hydrus, nightmare, etc designs...
I've been in love with the squid for ages! and also I like the pangoline but the squid is my fav OMG!
Only one personal problem here for me ---I love them all equally, which is why I won't be voting. Rad idea though.

The Squid is super cute, but the Pangolin is the one that makes me sprint for a new pet slot and it basically already looks like a typical Subeta pet <3

@Lexigraph I think it's fine since we're having this open for quite a while. There's plenty of time for users to play games, do quests, restock, etc to make sP to donate to their favorite pet(s). What we saw with the charities during the wedding, people donated to each one pretty evenly tbh. This is a little different since there is only one winner, unlike the charities.
Much as i love the others--plus how much easier it would make my acquiring #3485 for myself--i'll have to go with #0101. It clearly fits in best with the other standard pets. I'll just have to keep zapping for my cephalopod.
This is amazing! However, I would rather be able to pick: Common Experiment #1550 (the rift pet) or Common Experiment #104 (the red panda-like pet)
