For those that asked, we will not be bringing back the CW pawn shop this month. That’ll be a Luminaire treat. ;)

It's BlackFriday Sale in the cash shop today as it is the 24th so I've bought csc realising too late that may be it isn't the sales day today.....
I hope that csc isn't going to be in the sale after I have bought it I keep looking around the shop I can't see obvious sale items is there a sale today?

How long with the sale last? Because I'm leaving tomorrow and I won't be around a computer until Sunday night.

Glad to know the Pawn Shop will be back sometime! I really enjoyed getting gallery items last year. I look forward to it again!
@Nova: There won't be a bonus CSC weekend this month. I do believe Amber mentioned in the last bonus weekend news post last month (or it was mentioned at the bottom of the news post).

What's with all this understanding in the userbase? No whining? No tears? I feel so alone... Do you know how hot my pockets my legs are now that all this CSC has burnt through my pockets? xD No seriously thanks for all of this. Also thank you for a final answer on the CWs in the pawn shop and working. The not knowing has been so hard. I'm super excited that we'll have a bonus weekend before then, so there is still a chance to dive into there for gifts (since I'm totally just going to blow all my saved CSC on the cash shop now).

Wise choice to postpone BF! We'll have Black Saturday trending just you wait and see! :) We're a patient lot anyway (for the most part) :P This is definitely the way to go. Also, YAY, for the CW Pawn Shop during Luminaire!

Thank you. Have there been any other updates from staff about the ongoing issues? It seems like everything is broken and I haven't seen any recent news.
Dang it, I understand their reasoning, but I was looking forward to perusing the cash shop on my last day off. Starting Saturday I work the next 7 days, so I'll just have to squeeze a bit of time in each day I guess. Oh well, I'll survive, I guess It's better than losing an expensive item. (Already had that happen to me once this week, had to put in a ticket but it was resolved very quickly so it's all good).

@CrazyBirdLady I had the contents of a gift box poof away after I opened it! It was resolved quickly though.
@jamew If you don't want a CW any more, you can sell it for CSC instead of SP. But if you need CSC super fast, or the item's been in your shop for 6 months and you're tired of rechecking the prices, you can sell it to the pawnshop. You won't get as much CSC as you would get selling it through a shop, but you will definitely get some CSC right now. I don't know why the CW pawnshop is only open once or twice (max) a year, but when it opens, you can get all the CWs that people have sold to the pawn shop at dirt cheap prices.
Occasionally some very rare CWs show up in the pawn shop, and if you are a recent member (I joined in 2017) you can have a chance to buy things that were only sold to the general public before you joined.
Sometimes private items show up in the pawn shop; this is upsetting to many people because when it comes to personal, private gift releases, someone has broken their word. Whatever your stance on whether people should be able to set conditions on what you do with things you paid for, I think we can all agree that breaking your word to someone sucks.
But there are many items that aren't "private" because they were personal. They were "exclusive" to groups that no longer exist on the site and cannot be joined, or they were created for events that happened years and years ago. If one of those is on your wishlist, there's a chance you might find it.

i no understand all english and now i am irritated; when is here black friday? this week or in december? or this week and december with pawn shop again? if in december that means the free shop will be closed?? help.... :)

Ah man, I got a surprise half-day off today and I was looking forward to having time to spend on the BFS. I hope the issues aren't too tough to tackle! Thanks for keeping at it staff!
I think opening the Pawn Shop during Luminaire is way better than having it during the Black Friday sale. I'll be able to buy more CSC/items with them spaced out, especially this year since I didn't have any extra money during the October bonus weekend. I wouldn't mind this being a continued trend.
Wise choice to get the site fixed and running smooth. It would be horrible to try and move a super cool Cash Shop item to wardrobe, and it it poof away. Thanks
While I'm sad I can't start getting my BF items now I'm also happy you're waiting for better stability. (tbh I was kinda surprised fireside started with all this going on lol)

what to hell is that?? why u irritate us? friday is friday and not saturday, many users wait the whole year, keep their cash, buy new and now shop is closed. i have to go work in few hours and i no come here midnight to buy pixels !! m' really disapointed, u want my real money i work for, i spend and now? better keep my mouth shut... iceland wink* ...
