Thelema is the religion or philosophy created by Aleister Crowley, and Thelema the Steamwork Sheeta is really fired up about her religion, to the point that she took the name of the system as her own. Not one to commit to anything halfway, she jumped in with all four feet and tail, and now spends her time studying and learning ceremonial magick.
More of a mystic than a magician, at least according to those who divide these practices into a duality, Thelema is dedicated to the Great Work of Self-Transformation -- the alchemy of the evolution of the soul. She aspires to be more than a machine someday, in another life or another level of reality where species is less of a cross to bear and where diversity is embraced.
Thelema is a professional writer and editor, and she's what many would call a grammar Nazi. She is easily irritated by misuse of words or punctuation, and by spelling errors. (Only one exclamation point or question mark per sentence, please!) She combines her love of expressing herself with her passion for spirituality by regularly writing articles and keeping a blog.
Thelema likes books, and anything remotely Egyptian or Hermetic in nature (including anything on magick).
