Before the Ice King was a perverted old wizard, he was once a renowned archaeologist named Simon Petrikov. His fate was forever changed when he found a magical crown that, once worn, began to bore itself into his mind. It gave him fantastic abilities that allowed him to create ice and snow, and it allowed him to survive the Great Mushroom War that destroyed nearly everyone else on the planet, but it came at the cost of his sanity. For many years he wandered the post-apocalyptic landscape, struggling to survive without falling back on the powerful crown that was slowly transforming him into something else altogether.

In Their Own Words: So I decided to dress my HA as Bilbo Baggins from "The Hobbit". Here's Bilbo in his natural habitat, smoking his pipe and just being as hobbit as one can get...until a wizard and some dwarves come knocking on your door, of course.

In Their Own Words: My character is Raven from the show Teen Titans.
I wanted to do Raven because I love her to death; she's a strong female character that's well portrayed.
I couldn't make her exact (Her belt and the brooch that holds her cloak are red), but that's to be expected :p there weren't a wide range of items for her.
I had lots of fun making this cosplay!
