SNOWBALL FIGHT!
Earlier today, the shopping district of Subeta was rocked by turmoil as a debate raged on between two shop owners: Tobias of the Toy Box, and Dolly of the Candy Shack. I was able to determine the source of the turmoil in my exclusive interview with Dolly this afternoon:
“Tobias thinks he’s SO cool running the toy shop, like it’s somehow BETTER than my candy shop. I mean come on, no stupid toy is ever going to be as awesome as getting a whole box of CANDY for Luminaire!â€
At this point, Tobias interjected:
“Dolly, you are the stupid one. Like candy would ever be better than toys! Candy is gone in like, 2 minutes but toys can be played with all Luminaire! “
“Pfft, your cheap toys always end up broken in 2 minutes, and then you’ve got a broken toy AND no deliciously full belly. Sorry not sorry, but candy is obviously the winner.â€
“There’s only one way we can settle this. You want to snowball fight for it?â€
“HECK YEAH I DO!â€
I bravely tried to petition for a cease snowball, but it seems that these fierce titans of industry cannot be reasoned with, though I did get them to agree to a set of rules in order to keep the frostbite at bay! As well as battling for honor, the two shopkeepers are willing to give a few prizes to those that help them out.
For participating:
• Team-themed achievement and title

• 3 retired Melody’s Cottage items

• Trow Trophy for your profile!

In addition to the participant prizes, the winning team will receive: 

• 2 retired Melody’s cottage items

• A special winter themed wearable
And that's not all! You can also win a team-themed item from your own team’s captain if you manage to throw a certain amount of snowballs over the course of the battle. The top 10% of snowball throwers from either team will also receive a special achievement and title!

There is also now a Luminaire forum for you to find potential targets! All Luminaire threads have been moved there, make sure to only hit members of the opposing team! Also, you can only be hit by snowballs if you choose to participate in the fight!
Who will rise victorious and who will get the cold shoulder? Only time will tell!

I wanted to join the candy side buuuttt I preferred the sled wearable so. Sorry Dolly but I support you deep down inside I swear it.
I don't know if it's just the lag, or what, cuz I'm hearing people say they've thrown 1,000... 2,000... or more snowballs, and I'm up to a grand total of almost 150 after sitting here for nearly three hours... waah... T.T

I was keeping up until lag kicked in. It took three refreshes just to get this page. I hope the servers pick up soon, it's a little frustrating (but understandable).
So glad you guys made this easy by buying 50 snowballs at a time and throwing them at random members of the opposing team. XD

Will Avalanche Emporium return to being a normal shop (and the rarities of the snowballs returned to their pre-Holiday Item rarity) when this is over? O.o
Can the item called SNOWBALL be launched by the snowtapult? It should have been added to the list.
I think dolly's team is going to lose thanks to dead weight users joining just because dolly's team has thrown more snowballs.... people should pull their own weight -_-
I do love toys, especially video games... but I just feel more akin with Dolly more so I have to choose her. :blush:
So I have been using the "Random Opposing Team Member" option since it started, but as I was x-ing my tabs, I noticed something about "being more careful" - does that mean I hit someone on my team? Pretty uncool since I chose a preset option :(
Having fun, this way I can toss snowballs all over the place and not have to go out in the cold. Works for me. :)
I was going to join Team Toys, until I heard a disgusted "Blehck!" while preparing my Love Snowballs... and was soon banned from Tobias' fort. Oh well! :) Hi Dolly, no hard feelings? :heart:
Meh, I'll just watch from the sidelines. I like both candy and toys (when I was younger, that is) for Christmas.

This is SO fun! And anyone who joins a team and doesn't throw at LEAST one snowball should get a penalty...carry your weight and be a team player! ;^D
Sooo. I just spent a lot of time opening up tabs to buy lots and lots of snowballs. I spent like... roughly an hour, give or take, buying about 1600 of them. Now they have been removed entirely from my inventory. 8I
It's a GREAT idea to have a shop set up for snowballs. GREAT JOB!!! Now we don't have to worry about the craziness of trying to buy them users at higher prices! :D
Oh, and in addition, it'd be nice if an announcement is set on the top of the page saying it doesn't matter the members number, but the average number per user. If they thing it's about members, Dolly team will probably be filled with freeloaders soon

Please, don't do this longer than a week. I already thrown 500 snowballs and it'll be really boring if I want to be the top 10%...
It would be much more unfair and pointless if it was just a popularity contest. Everybody would just join the bigger group and do nothing while winning in the end for this.

@boxcutterbaby It's a game :) People who join your team and don't help don't increase your score. That's the problem that Dolly is having right now.
I really HATE that it's averaged. Dolly's side has thrown about 20k more than Tobias' but we're only 2 points ahead right now. I dont see how that's fair to those of us actually participating.
I too wonder how long this is going to last. I never liked being covered in snowballs (it's why I hid my HA XD)
