Survival CW Contest!
Are you ready for the upcoming survival celebrations or are you missing a few essentials? This is your chance! Skitters and Louis L\'Amour have decided to open their doors to a few new suppliers and are now accepting applications! Get yours in before time runs out at 11:59pm Subeta standard time on the February 19th. At that point, the staff judges will go through and wheedle out the best quality items for the users to vote on over the weekend!
Rules:
- Users may submit up to three designs for consideration.
- Item images and names should be themed towards either the Love Shack or the Zombie Den.
- Must be original items (no tributes, no recolors of already existing items, etc).
- Submitted items must adhere to the Custom Wearable rules and guidelines.
- Commissioned art is eligible, but should be credited to the artist(s) in the submission notes.
- Facial features are allowed for this contest!
Prizes!
- 2,000 Cash Shop Credits.
- 50,000,000sP.
- Free copy of your item.
- Winning items to be sold in either the Love Shack or Zombie Den.
- Participation prizes will be awarded!
Helpful Tips
- There will be no denial/resubmission process for this so be sure to submit your very best work!
- Variety is the spice of life! Submitting three different types of items will increase your chances to win more than submitting three recolored copies of the same shoes.

The site has had multiple contests and only one was centered around cw's. Baking something for the anniversary ? Nothing to do with custom items. Making an ornament for Luminaire ? No. Carving a pumpkin ? Again, no.
I am all for them doing different contests, but don't suggest that custom items have been the only kind.

Anyone that can figure out what to do is a genius and deserves the huge prize. I wish there was a guide like a recipe. You need 1/ 2/ 3/. Step 1... Step 2.... etc. I'd love to have a go but don't have a clue how to go about it. (I've read the guidelines). Is there a Youtube referral?
I'm loving the contests, but I am really getting tired of the CW artist only contests. There is such a small percentage of the users on Subeta who can actually create an item good enough to win in these contests, and the same 10-20 (or however many established artists there are) pretty much have the corner on the market.
It would be nice if there was a create an item IDEA and a Subeta staff can draw it, along with actually having users design CW's.

Im guessing if the shading is off they wont be excepted so Im out...Id love to try...but I know I havent even tried recently to make a cw...I would love to see what people come up with...

Except the prizes for those contests were equivilant to under a mil. worth of things and an achievement.
Not saying that I'm against this, it was one of the redeemable qualities of that Peka event, but there is a difference. The prizes for these contests are more equal to the prizes of what battling used to give for events. And that was/is hated because even with the stats, one doesn't have the potential to deal the necessary damage without the proper, often elusive, weapons.
I do love this event and I hope we get some gender neutral facial items out of this, but Reekoh has a point. Both types of contests would be really fun. I mean, if Rah could draw, what was it? 6 items? For 5 people as a little pet project, I think someone on staff could draw a couple items for the majority of the userbase that voted an a concept/sketch/idea of an item/wearable.
But yeah, love this and I'm really looking forward to all the submissions. ^_^
