Experiment Pet Poll Results
Well, future customers and most excellent funders of the One True Zapper. I have quite some news for you. Thanks to your generosity, I find myself practically
- Experiment #2759 with 870,500,000
- Experiment #5162 with 857,100,000
- Experiment #3485 with 302,100,000
- Experiment #0101 with 248,350,000
- Experiment #870 with 208,100,000
As you can see, there were two contenders that zapped into the lead and - to let you in on a little behind the scenes fun - remained very much neck and neck throughout the donation period. It was very tense.
The donations were so high, in fact, that I believe I may be able to turn BOTH of these top contenders into full pets. I know, I said I would only do one! But I’m Euclid, the all powerful scientist - do you really want me to hold back on my constant and changing whims? Plus, the blob will be easy. Nobody is going to be worried about if its legs look anatomically correct or if it has furboobs.
So look forward to your future pets! Now I just need to come up with a name for them. I’m currently leaning towards ‘peabomination' and ‘blobface' but who knows what will happen while I’m tweaking my zapper. That’s not a euphemism. Get your mind out of the gutter. Maybe if you shout some suggestions at me some of them will influence my decisions. I can’t do all the work, people.

I love the idea of "peaquine" but isn't #2759 partially based on a deer? Deer are part of the cervidae family, not the equine family, which might be a bit confusing. Deer are part of the "Pecora" infraorder though, so I thought the name Peacora would be neat!
i liked the blob at first but like.... how are they gonna make a pet out of that? how are they going to color that? there's like nothing you can do with it.

Looking at the comments on this post makes me wonder again what the popular vote results were vs rich users throwing a ton of money at their choice. The blob coming in second is baffling to me, and apparently to a lot of other users as well. The squid had so much more potential as a pet.
I'm honestly so surprised. I thought the scaled one and the squid would be top. Complete opposite! I wonder what it would look like if we had voted instead of donated (did anyone/any small group put in enough to change the results?!).
I am not going to even lie, I am so upset that #870 didn't come in AT LEAST 2nd place. I mean, seriously, the blob? (Sorry, I'm a touch mad and sad). Oh well, congrats to the two winners!
HIGH key disappointed that Experiment #870 didn't even get into the top 3. Missed opportunity to name something Medusa/Gorgon/Greek related. Shaaame...money wasted just so a blob can win :/

Although I will say I'm very excited to see the arid colors for the peacock, since albino peacocks are mystical looking creatures
#5162, seriously? For me the only pet-able one is the #0101, because it really seems like a species '-' the other ones already have its colors set. How will you do a peacock in other colors? '-'
Well the peacock experiemnt is fun, really bummed out about the squid not getting higher though, oh well. I think next time the money polls are sorta better for stuff like the charity donations, where everything will be implimented eventually, it's just the one with the most gets done first?

Well, at least one of the ones I was considering was the peacock-looking one. But I'm actually surprised. I honestly thought the sloth-looking one had a lot of potential there. And the squid would just have been fun to work with. Perhaps there is hope for future pets?? :)
Maybe they didn't win because they are already just too cute. :P But I really would like to see a reborn or angelic version of some of those.

I do agree though, this was a bad idea in terms of poll; all the super rich people get their voices heard far louder than everyone else, which.. isn't really fair or equal? And doesn't make it a poll at all? It's just a money sink, and really rich users throw the whole thing.

I saw Peaquine for the peacock, and I like that one. For the blob...well, blob works. Or squishy. Or Glop....maybe Gloop? I kinda like Gloop.
