I have been a member for almost 14 and a half years. I love the artwork and the community, the creativity seen through other user’s avatars and pets, the fun holiday events and activities, and also collecting beanbags/plushies/etc.
I occasionally take hiatuses but something always pulls me right back in. 🥰

I have to echo osterizer - Meeting and working with the SubetaLodge staff of @Lypsyl, @Marlboro, @osterizer, and @Reaper has been such a wonderful part of my existance and purpose on Subeta. <3

I joined 14 1/2 years ago. I have taken a couple breaks, but I always am drawn back by the player community here.
I have never forgotten the kindness that 'The Powers That Be' here (aka Keith and the admins) showed me when my daughter died in 2008, by transferring one of her pets to my account. <3

2 things:
1) I love the experiment pets. They have such creative designs! I honestly prefer them to the regular pets, haha.
2) Coming to Subeta from Neopets, it's really nice to see explicit LGBTQ rep onsite and (before Subeta had that) just something as simple as allowing users to talk about being gay on the forums.

Crazy to think Subeta is 17, and that I I joined over 15 years ago; although I have not been incredibly active.
I fell in love with the Bloodred Legeica the moment I saw it, and made Ithel as soon as I was able. It is still one of my favorite designs.

I joined Subeta 12 years ago, and shortly after I joined I met @FIENDISH and we've been friends ever since. ;-; Truly the greatest treasure I've found on the site! I've also met some lovely people that make me happy just by existing like @Destiny @frafty @Lavabeast and @Choco who deserve all the love ever. Being able to collect my Jollins, giving them names like Pee and Poop and watching an amazing mix of disgust and laughter come from it. BOOKS. FFFFFFFF. So, thank you @Keith and all the rest of fhe staff over the years for putting in the hard work and also owning up to the messes we've been through. It wouldn't be Subeta without a little chaos, after all. c:

I've been here since....heck I dunno but I remember Subetageddon '11 and that was 10 years ago! This site pretty much got me through lockdown last year. I may not do the social aspect very much but I enjoy doing quests, buying things and generally faffing about here. Here's to another 17 years ok? 8D

personally i love how lgbt friendly the staff and members are, it really feels like there's a place for everyone here c':
It’s the common desire among all the people involved to see the site do well and thrive! Whether they be staff or player with any specific part of the site they frequently enjoy, as far as I can see they all want the site to prosper for its own sake because they know that eventually benefits the specific things they enjoy.

I love that I've been here since the second anniversary celebration and everything is still going strong!
I made my longest-standing friendship via subeta. We have been good buds for 10 years and I value her friendship so much! ^_^
This site is like a home away from home. I've been on here since I was a teenager, and coming back to it after a long hiatus feels like I'm coming back to a place that really knows me and still likes me for who I am. Thank you for everything, Subeta! Happy Anniversary!
I love that this site isnt goodie-two-shoes. I love the raunchy humor of items. I love the seasonal events and the down-to-earth, friendly staff.

I love everything and how you guys never stop striving to be better in how you handle things, in what you create, and the world you write for us!
I've just started playing again after a couple years of breaks. I kiind of like that it was fun to jump right back into it? I restocked a keystone mould and an ornate pitcher in the same day, and got so much from the FS (one of the reasons I booted the game up again). But it's been fun to see how easy it is to get back into things

but I also really loved being part of the change over from "earth" holidays to subeta holidays, and watching each of those unfold.
I also appreciate the level of customization available in HAs. I used to be more into making them than I am now, but I still really enjoy playing dress up sometimes. I'm sure they exist out there, but I don't know of anywhere else that his this level of detail and so many options for playing with it, and I have always enjoyed that aspect.

Love the plots, especially watching people collaborate and solve puzzles in real time. Also love how queer friendly it is here! Really feeling the love, y'all.

I have been here since the first year and over half my life! My favorite part is the sustainable longevity of this site. There are always updates, new items, plots, awesome CC, pretty pets, challenges, and people to talk to (though I don't normally lol). I joined a lot of pet sites back in 2004/2005 and many I can't even remember the names, but this one stayed. Oh and my favorite plot was the Morostide plot a few years back.

I love a lot about the site. My #1 is the possibility to change the layout scheme. I use the Arctic Frost theme since years. Many, many, many, many, many~ years. When I log in, I always see the wonderful icy, blue-white theme all 365 days. Also when it's not snowy outside.
Next I enjoy sending random gifts to people I don't know and sometimes we get in contact. Meeting new peoples while helping them with wl stuff is the way, I meet some of my longtime-friends here. Luminaire isn't my favourite event/holiday, but send out gifts to people is something I enjoy also in real. And to have the chance to do it virtual means a lot for me.
Since the Mallarchy Pond give out old Morostide items, I was able to feed my pets with long-wanted wl stuff. It's always cool to see when the games got a little update. Also to gain (non) food items your after years.
Working on achievements is also something I love about subeta and I often wish that all the plushies are real and I own them. °^° For the next 17 years. ^_^

At no point in my life have I had success at making a deep long term friendship. But here I find so many friendly people that I still hope. And I know that I will find kind and encouraging words if I look for them. Thank you for so many years even with all the ups and downs :) pun intended. Though I haven't enjoyed all the decisions the site has made and I am dreading to new site, Subeta will always have a special place in my heart.

I ADORE subeta. When I came to the site, it was with a group of friends leaving neopets. Sadly, they did not stay, & left me here. I would have a hard time picking one single thing. I adore this site, the events, the battling, Lumineve, Freyalise, Masqurade, & the list goes on. I am afraid y'all are stuck with me!!

Yeah, there's CSS for that, just paste it in! Outfit needs something not available on the site? Make your own clothes! There's just so much you can do to personalize and really get creative if you have the skills and if you don't, there's probably someone you can find who does!
That and the communication staff has with the users. People complain that you might not necessarily make a news post for all the things they feel are newsworthy, but the communication and transparency staff here has is worlds better than we see on some other sites.
