Lovely but I didn't like the male reference. Saying that they don't understand. It hurts them when you say that, because they actually do (although they may not show it).

It's always so heartwarming to see my templates used for lovely tributes like this.
Goldie was a beautiful dog and so clearly loved. You did a great job with this tribute to her. Golden retrievers are such wonderful dogs but they really are masters of breaking our hearts with unseen medical problems.

I'm sorry life has panned out the way it has. I'm almost at the point where I may have to consider giving up my own dog due to my health and the financial burden that causes. Its messing with my head in ways I couldn't imagine. And its not like I haven't dealt with trauma before- but this is a special kind of emotional agony.
I am so, so sorry that you had to experience this at such a young age.

If you're making a tribute pet decades later, then they did a fine good job at being a dog.
If you could imbue a dog with speech and cognitive abilities, is there really much more they could ask for? (short lf eternal companionship, of course?)
They're a golden treasure, now with one of the highest honors a pet can receive in the fantasy world of Subeta, which judging by your join date and the dates in the profile, you joined when you were basically still a kid.
It may seem a bit juvenile, but it is kinda comforting to me. I like to think my current dog would love to be seen as a precious treasure I carry in my heart for the rest of my life. She's a little velcro dog.
My childhood dog though? Psh. She was a cat in a dog body. I think she'd be proud of me growing up and learning to not care so much.
Same breed, funnily enough.

@Pureflower Aww so sad. <3 The move and being away from you and your family I'm sure was very stressful. Most of us hate change, unless its for the better, and that definitely includes animals. I've seen it so many times.

My beautiful golden girl. Over twenty years and I still miss you.
@Chrysariel - It was a medical problem that wasn't discovered during routine checkups. We think the move was too stressful and brought on a reaction. (My parents were business owners and their business was slowly failing - we actually had to rehome two of our three dogs - it was a very stressful time.)
Thank you to Lea for the lovely profile template.

Congrats! Such a lovely tribute to such a special dog. Did she die of grief? I'm not sure from the story. But she was only five and that's young. So sad. But I loved the profile. :)
