Already have the book in my gallery. Would like the clock but don't have enough points so added to my WL.
I screamed desperately when I saw the background, like I'm not even trying to be funny - there was an actual screech, and it was beseeching.
I can't see it on my cell...but I strongly suspect I NEED that clock. xD

@elka Piggy-backing off of what @Amber said: I think it's obviously because of his giant paws. In the first book you noted, there are teeny tiny leaves. The Recycle Beast's book however has much larger leaves. This is because the Recycle Beast has large hands and thus finds those easier to handle.

Can't say anything about the books, but the cat was made because people wanted it to be wearable.
