Dali woke up early, just as she always did, and stretched quietly. The sun was not quite up and the room was chilled, but her fur was very warm and she couldn't wait to run in the morning air. Mom was -of course- asleep and Dali snuck close to her face. With a mischievous grin, she stuck her cold nose under the woman's cheek and snorted loudly. Her owner woke up immediately, laughing. "Jellybean! I love you sweetie. Ready to go outside?" Dali crooned happily and danced on her long legs as Mom shoved the blankets aside.

Bounding ahead, the young dog impatiently waited at the door. She could see outside and the mountains looked very inviting with the light rising behind them. "Don't worry, I'm coming." Her owner patted her head gently. As she pulled open the door the fresh spring air coursed over them. "It's going to be a beautiful day, don't you think?" Dali looked up at her with chocolate eyes and wagged her curled tail.
