Phobetor is one of the Oneiroi, the thousands of sons of Hypnos, the god of Sleep. The Oneiroi are dreams. Phobetor is one of the main three, the others being his brothers Morpheus and Phantasos. He is in charge of nightmares, presenting images of beast, birds and serpents to your dreams. His other duties include attending on his father when he is slumbering and looking over the passing of dreams through the gates of horn and ivory.

But in his travels over the mortal worlds he unknowingly fell under the spell of a young shaman in the small world of Subeta. The shaman was performing a summoning spell that she thought failed, so when the Oneiroi appeared at her camp the next morning she didn't think there was any connection. Phobetor himself believes he decided to visit this world by himself and happened to meet this shaman and her posh pet, and why should he leave? They seem nice enough.

What will happen when the thruth is uncovered remains to be seen. Who will discover it first, perhaps Phobetor himself? Or the shaman? Perhaps they will see the wrath of Hypnos if he finds out one of his Oneiroi are missing, if he ever cares to check. Maybe it will be Hypnos' brother Thanatos, the god of Death, who notices first. But for now, all is well in the forests of Subeta.
