The ground quaked with every step from a form so large moving through the forest. Massive paws attached to an elephant sized cat left paw prints the size of a tire in it’s wake. Some sort of feline, but the size of a truck and so twisted by Wonderland’s magic that it appeared to be a beast most feral. Fangs that could impale and eyes to haunt the soul it stalks Wonderland in the hopes of finding those who have managed to get lost in the mad world and make them a meal.

This beast was not always the twisted, sharp toothed grinning menace it is today. Once upon a time it was an innocent kitten who lost it’s way and found the portal to Wonderland via the looking glass. Forever bound to Wonderland the creature who is now known as the Cheshire Cat sometimes slips out of Wonderland to pray upon those whos sanity is slipping. It takes them under its care and nurtures the insanity within until the person is mad enough to be dragged off to Wonderland and collected by the twisted and cursed place.

Sometimes working for the Red Queen to try and draw in those from the Little linage, Cheshy may appear as a docile house cat or the massive beast it truly is. It has been known to play with it’s food and makes frequent trips to the Hatter’s home hoping to get to eat the Hatter’s own victims.

Claws like steel and a mouth full of razor sharp teeth Chester as he is known isn’t friendly on the best of days. Sanity long gone it is difficult to say if you’ll come across the playful kitten or the ferocious beast. Always be leery of the one who possesses the cheshire grin, for as he has been known to warn, ”I’m not all there myself!”
