They say opposites attract, and that was certainly the case when Craggy first clapped eyes on Mam' as he now calls her, dainty and sweet,like candy she was and still is to his eyes. Yes its a well known phenomenon that patients fall for their nurse, but in Mamselles case it was mutual, "There was just something about Craggys stoicism that touched me deeply" was her explanation,"'He was beaten but unbowed' as the saying goes,and still had a twinkle in his eye" Whatever she saw in him has proved to be true, and their decision to move to the peace and beauty of Veta Lake has give them the wonderful new start they both deserve. They are loving the quiet countryside, and enjoy cooking the wonderful provender that Craggy grows, taking any excess to the farmers market a couple of times a week, brings in some extra money.
