How the creature had survived for so long alone is a mystery, but it's fortunes, and the life of the explorer that happened upon it, change forever upon their meeting. AzureEmpress stumbled through the Ice Fields in search of treasure, but the wind and the cold were beating her with every step, and she was rapidly losing her sense of direction. She notices a large ice ledge and quickly shelters beneath it, trying to gather herself enough to find the way home. As she recovers her breath, it becomes clear she is not alone, as a large pair of crystal blue eyes stare up at her with a mixture of curiosity and judgment. She wants to take it home, but it's quite clear the creature doesn't trust her enough to simply follow her there. Then Azure remembered,"You found a Frozen Cookie, half buried in the snow!"She offers it to the creature, who sniffs it and tentatively chews upon it, treading slightly closer with each chew."I have better cookies at home.
