[TEMPORARILY REDACTED] receives the closest thing to legendary status. This surgeon has a rather cheeky personality, occasionally feigning disapproval or telling jokes that may sting people who are unacquainted with him. Doctors who were previously his students and health care professionals who work with him closely are frequently on the receiving end of this. [REDACTED] is the chairperson of Medici del Mondo's surgery department.

Gifted with surgical skill and sharpness of mind, he is able to finish even complex surgeries in under 30 minutes. He's generally considered to have miraculous hands for this reason. Among his colleagues, he is commonly known as Wills or any variation thereof. Even if he is one of the more visible surgeons in Medici del Mondo's missions and charity work, Wills does not demand attention for himself despite his accomplishments and will prefer that the fanfare goes to other members of his team.

He often employs cutting edge surgical technology and techniques when the prospective benefit is greater than potential risks. He calls some of his colleagues out for pushing unnecessary surgeries to their patients and urges them to treat the condition medically if surgery will lead to negligible benefit, or will otherwise harm the patient more than do them any good.

Wills has a modest, yet contagious sense of happiness (quick to find humour even in seemingly mundane situations) that makes others also break into laughter. Some of his patients and colleagues wonder how he can keep this disposition most of the time.

Despite age differences, he is friendly not only to Medici del Mondo's board, but also to its doctors and other staff. The younger doctors see him as a fatherly figure and a bridge between the different generations. Unlike Chiharu Matsuda-Hiiragi, however, he is better at remembering people by face rather than by their names.

Many of his students like him because he is more relaxed and considerate compared to the other professors in his departments where he teaches, something uncharacteristic of his age group. As much as possible, he does not want to get shout at anyone or show anger, especially to his students. He is not above showing mild annoyance or irritation, however.

Wills has a tendency to grossly overestimate people if they've displayed exceptional skill on occasion. When they turn out to be less competent as he taught, he hides his disappointment and urges their colleagues to help the person and build them up.
