Davyn is a demon hunter. He is human, but he has been possessed by a demon named Andras , whom he only shares a body with (not his soul). Andras is the demon of discord, and leads an army of 30 legions (according to Solomon's work). Over time, his army has managed to seek refuge from his reign in hell by traveling to earth and over-taking humans/ creating discord. Losing his armies made him very weak, and he was practically forgotten among the other royalties of hell. At some point, a cult forms on earth and worships a demon named Marchosias (Davyn's true father), and Davyn is tricked into attending one of their meetings. The cult attempts to sacrifice Davyn (because Marchosias requests his son's soul in hell-Dave is heir to his title), but Andras interferes and attached himself to Davyn's body instead. Now possessing a somewhat stronger form, Andras requests Davyn to retrieve/punish his army which is scatter throughout the area (Because Davyn, having a demon father,is the perfect medium between Earth and Hell). In return, the demon would grant him some superhuman powers (agility, balance, acrobatics), the sword Andras wields in Hell, and Davyn's life that the cult had taken from him. Davyn also possess the ability to call on Andras' black wolf, whom Davyn calls Tanio, though he tries not to since the animal draws up a lot of evil and attention in his true form. As much as Davyn tried to fight the possession, he now sees some good in it. He is able to protect people while crushing the demons that have run a muck, and soon he makes a job out of it. He has no time limit, but Andras sometimes gets impatient. The demon can talk to him telepathically, though Davyn tries to ignore him. He knows in the back of his mind though that once he has finished returning Andras's army back to Hell, the demon will take Davyn's soul with him when he returns. He is hoping to find a way out of the contract before his time is up, but there has yet to be anyone who is willing/can help

Extra
- Marchosias is a fallen angel attempting to return to heaven- he believes that if he can get someone to take his place in Hell, he will be able to rise. He currently has two sons- Davyn (who is possessed by another demon, thus Marchosias cannot use him), and Edgar( Davyn's half brother who is currently being 'recruited' for the psychopomps, but until he has transformed into one, Marchosias has a chance of forcing Edgor to take his place).
- You can only become a demon if you were either born in Hell or have fallen. Davyn may have a demon parent, but he is not a demon, or even half. Half demons do not exist.
- Davyn has Adras's seal engraved on his left hand (dominant hand). The symbol acts as a portal to Hell, with which Davyn draws his powers from. In order to summon his sword and its strength, Davyn must cut the palm of his hand (blood must be offered to open the portal) with the sacrificial dagger (that was originally used during the cult sacrifice) and stamp the seal at the very top-center of his back. He will then be able to pull the sword out from the mark on his back and use its incredible power to weaken demon foes. Once a demon has been weakened enough, Davyn must press the palm of his hand onto the demon, and it will be sucked back through the portal to Hell. The mark will then close.
If Davyn touches anything other than the sword while the portal is open, he runs the risk of harming, killing, or transforming people and things.
