I'm not sure when I snapped. I can't really remember much of anything these days. Once my fingers touch the keys on my laptop my mind goes else where and the something that snapped comes out in full. My eyes widen, my heart beats faster, the description of an adrenaline rush doesn't even begin to touch how I feel. Perhaps I should tell about myself.

My name is Alva Tekniikka. Essentially it means Evil Technology. Honestly, Evil doesn't even begin to cover what I do. Technology... I love Technology. Technology, what a beautiful creation. Throughout my middle school, high school, and college years I detached myself from the people that walked through the halls, keeping my head down and my laptop clutched to my side. I never showed my face. Not even to the teachers. They all learned fast never to call on my name and simply leave me alone. However, there are those kids that seem to feel the need to urge me into my snapped state. Another however, a few pitiful people have found out what happens when you tip me over the edge.

I entered my apartment and went into my computer room. I had several large television screens around the room at eye level. All of them were hooked up to a tower each. I opened my laptop and plugged it into one of the tower as well and inserted the flash drive into the port. I had another person to enter into my hmm for now I'll call it a game. In my spare time from the few college classes I was taking I have become a hacker that could befall nations, not meaning to brag. A few years ago I had created a game for online play to see if I perhaps could make some friends. I made only one so far while hundreds play the game. That one friend is a very special friend. Ironically the only friend I could make is not from this world. His name is Hexx.

Hexx is a special creature. He comes from a realm that I could have never dreamed of. I remember the day I met him. I was sitting at my laptop creating more events for the game while coding a virus to send to someone who thought it was a fun idea to kick me to the ground that day. It was storming and with a flash of lightning the power went out. Luckily, for my several back up generators all my computers and modems stayed on. The only light was the glow from the screens. I turned around because there was an annoying, abnormal glow coming from a screen behind me. As I turn around I realize it wasn't a screen, but instead it was a glowing, floating red eye surrounded by a red glowing mist. If it had a mouth it would be smiling at my scared facial expression. I calmed myself down and with a raised eyebrow I stood and went up to it.

"Who are you and what do you want?" I tilted my head to the side in a curious way. All of a sudden I heard a deep booming voice in my head. I figured it would speak telepathically but I didn't expect it to be as loud.

"My name is Hexx and I want to hmm how can I put this? I want to help you."

"Help me?"

"I've been keeping an eye on you from my realm and I have some pity for you. Let me help you get back at the people that have wronged you and in turn I will take their souls to appease the others in my realm."

I raised an eyebrow, "How? What? Why?" I took a few steps back and I could feel something in me beginning to enjoy the idea and the corner of my mouth was beginning to twitch, wanting to smirk.

"I possess powers beyond your wildest dreams. Let me grant you and your technology a simple dose of my powers. Let me give an example of what these will do for you. Press a certain key on your board and the person you despise that you wish to get back on will be frozen so long as they are touching their computer. A blue, electrical aura will surround them so if anyone tries to touch them they will get shocked backwards. The person is unable to move under any circumstances. Where will they be absorbed you may ask?," It started floating towards the chair and hovered over it like it was sitting, "They will be put into your game into a certain realm modeled after my world. I will oversee it. The realms rules will be simple as well. Survive the realm and beat the final boss that person shall go free. If they die the aura around their body will electrocute them with their souls being absorbed into the game and sent to my realm. You will never have to deal with that person ever again and I gain a soul. It's a win win situation." By the tone of his voice I could tell he was smirking like a devil.

I began to pace around the room and faced my back towards him. All the thoughts, the words, the taunting, the beatings, all the horrible memories since I was a small child welled up inside me. My head snapped back and I began to laugh maniacally. My hands looked like claws in the shadows on the wall. I turned my torso so I could look at Hexx with a demonic look on his face. Hexx's iris grew in a feared state and I let out another chuckle.

"We have a deal."

Ever since that day I believe I have killed nearly under fifty people. None of them have been able to defeat the final boss I had programmed. And thanks to Hexx none of my IP's can be traced to show that I was the one with the game that was killing off random people. Hexx had become sort of a pet. I took care of him and he took care of me. Often he would watch me work on either hacks, viruses, programs, or some simple games that I sold online. Other times he would float in and out of the television screens back and forth into the different areas of the game.

One day Hexx came up to me and floated around my head. He knew I was working on a new program that had a release date that was quickly coming up. I let out a heavy sigh and looked at Hexx.

"What do you want now?" My voice was monotone and seemed uninterested besides my work.

"I forgot to mention one thing when you and I made that deal long ago," It had been a few years by now, "You can go into the game yourself and have the joy of eliminating the players yourself. Make yourself the boss or as you people put it, be the 'Grim Reaper'. All you have to do is enter /grimreapENTER and hit the Enter key. You'll be transported into the game and will be transformed into a creature of your choosing. Just thought you should know!" He bounced up and down on my desk and entered a computer screen. I wish he had told me this sooner. Shortly after I finished my program and typed in the pass code.

A swarm of red binary coding flew out of the computer and began to envelop me. I fall to the ground in pain as I felt my hands, feet, and my head catch on fire. My clothes became tattered as the coding warped me into the screen. After a few painful minutes I laid on the ground with parts of me on fire, a blue fire, and next to me a scythe. I stood up using the scythe to help me stand and I looked it over. It was all black and the blade appeared to be made of the strongest of silver. I help a hand up to my face, the flames not hurting me a single bit. A player came out from his hiding place and approached me cautiously.

"Are you alright?" His voice trembled. He didn't know whether I was beast or a human.

"Yeah I am." I nodded and turned around. The boy was someone I had placed into the game permanently. His eyes went wide and he took a step back.

"Alva! You're stuck here too?!"

"Oh. I'm not stuck. You see I made this game," I took a step forward, "I put you here on purpose," I raised my scythe high above my head, "Sadly it's time for you to go." I swung down with such a force that all I saw was binary coding as his soul vanished.

I go day by day with a grin on my face. The teachers are now worried since several of their students have gone missing and the students now somewhat avoid me. There's still those random people who think it's fun to torture me on a day to day bases. But that's fine. I get to torture them in return.
