Project Iron-bound
Centuries ago a deal was struck between dragons and humans...
Angwedh
- iron-bond, chain

Notes:
World + humans: few big countries, Russia/USSR/China/US-sized, they would be the ones to be able to develop the technology needed, Alternative world where dragons exist, the countries/empires have struck deals with the dragons for using them as a sign of power essentially making them shiny toys/objects for bragging-rights/pets, as the dragon race slowly started diminishing in number mankind started coming up with ways to keep the existing dragons alive for longer/forever, there might be initial ideas that fail, eventually they come up with the idea of mechanizing the dragons, their first many attempts failed (imagine decades/centuries to get the details right), the machines couldn’t keep the test dragons alive, then it got to a point where they would survive the procedure but not being able sustain liveable conditions, eventually they got a successful result, even though the dragons can live for centuries without help the humans in their greed for power felt it necessary to do this,

Dragons - basics: different species or just one, the dragons did this out of greed for gold/riches,
- Why did they deal with the humans? were the dragons okay with being submissive or did they have a plan to outlive mankind or overpower them for their riches,
- Why did their number start to diminish? maybe because the living conditions of the dragons change is why fewer eggs are being laid, a certain way of life is needed for the dragons to be able to procreate, or maybe the humans could be taking the eggs and not being able to care for them (sort of eragon-ish, which is a con),
Dragons - machine: what's the ratio between machine and dragon, how much of the original dragon is left, the machine design is made so that the dragons are dependent on humans, that way they won't rebel against the humans,

My character: One of the first dragons to be turned, very old vs. newly turned/soon to be turned, very young

Design wip:
Size of wings and tail limited by canvas. should obviously correspond to body size.

TC ideas:
- metals, glass plate, bottled fire
- gemstones, gold
- items similar to the dragon skull, dragon eggs
