Awekuyo

Name; Theodore Oliver Wise.
Nickname; Theo
Age; 17.
Gender; male.
Orientation; gay.
Power (when needed); ability to change the color of any object at ease.
Personality; Awekuyo's a bright person. He's not flamboyant... just bright. He loved bright clothing and colors, though normally, he keeps to himself. Though when he does talk, he's very friendly and polite, usually bowing or talking with etiquette. And he's English. ;)
Awekuyo was born in Winchester, England to a single teenaged mother. She was in love, as she said, with a handsome man from London who seemed to do no wrong. But after impregnating her, he left her on her own, claiming the child was not his.
Awekuyo's mother moved to London soon after his birth, living in a 2 room apartment with his grandparents. He was raised there, under the eye of his mother and grandparents, though he was always a strange boy. He felt the need to wear bright colors, and always seemed to have a "crush" on a boy in his class. He found nothing wrong with it, yet his mother strained to tell him that was wrong. Only his grandmother seemed to accept it, and he would go to her when classmates would tease poor Kyo.
At the age of 15, Kyo and his mother moved to America to find a job for her. She found one as an english teacher at the local middle school, while Kyo had to deal with being a completely foreign student in an American highschool. Duh to his good looks and accent, girls seemed to throw themselves at him, but he turned them down... instead his eye on another boy in his Algebra class.
The boy seemed appalled when Kyo confessed his love, throwing a fit about the wrongness of homosexuality. The actions of the boy upset Kyo, forcing him to become very reclusive and quiet, almost never really speaking at school anymore. His sexual orientation had now made him an outcast, and everyone looked down on him.
Why can't everyone just be equal, regardless of sexual preferences?
