Lezrix is a creature known as a Void, a fearsome beast spawned from the underworld to devour souls.

Those spirits which linger on the brink of this world and the next, too afraid to fully crossover, are subject to becoming a meal for a Void. Voids stalk the boundary in search of hapless victims, their ravenous hunger driving them onwards at all times. Voids are relatively simple creatures; their minds are limited to the basic instincts of stalk, capture, and feed. They have no souls, and as such are without mercy, regret, fear, ambition, or any sort of complex emotion. They serve only the purpose of consuming lost souls and sending them to the world of the dead.

Since Voids do not have the proficiency to strategize or consider about the future, they are always accompanied by a demonic underling. Shadespooks serve as the 'brains' of the duo, directing and instructing their Void in the present circumstances.
