📖 Out of Mana 📘
In a cave sparsely lit by the glowing gems dotting its rough, gray walls, a lost traveler awakens.

It's good that you're up. You don't want to fall asleep here, outside of the domes. This isn't the sort of place where sleep brings sweet dreams.

The dillema hurriedly puts a dream journal into his bag. The traveler catches glimpse of a few pages, but none of them seem to contain writing. There are just inky drawings of what looks like the barren moonscape, scattered with small, yellow dots.

He reaches into his bag again. Once with his left hand, another with his right, and then closes them into fists. A toothy grin spreads across his face, as he steps toward the cave entrance and into the starlight.

Pick a hand, any hand. But you better make sure it's the right one. He winks his left eye.

The traveler reaches forward and taps the demon's right hand. The hand opens, revealing a few pieces of silver wrapped caramels. The demon chuckles.

A wise decision! The cell phone here in my left hand is almost out of minutes, and I still need to check the prices of ore on the auction house app before my mining run. Those stupid robots don't realize that upgrades and weapon enchantments don't pay for themselves, you know?

He leaves the bewildered traveler alone, starring blankly at the candy in hand, as a large shadow crests the horizon and swims towards the mouth of the cave.
