Warbots are never built to look like humans.

Unlike combots, warbots were never meant to be companions. They were meant to destroy, and ultimately, to be destroyed. There was no reason for humans to create warbots that looked like themselves. Humans didn't want to create killing machines in their own image. They didn't want to feel sympathy for them when they were destroyed (whether it was on the battlefield, or because they had become obsolete). Besides that, why waste money making warbots look human when it could be spent on building more warbots?

But then... why do I exist?

From the moment Diondar woke up (or rather, activated), he had no memory of who built him or why. He didn't know of any other robots that looked as human as he did, yet he didn't know of any other robots with the same level of advanced weaponry he was equipped with, either. He knew that by all means, he shouldn't even exist.

But he did.
