Smoothie

I work in a pet store. I dream of getting my veterinary license soon but for now, I juggle with work, review and my hobby of drawing. I love to draw but it's coming to a point where I can barely have time for it. Work is emotionally tiring but I love seeing the smiles of the customers. And then I remember that one fine morning, I met you.

I was viewing the fishes in the aquarium area. When I heard an incoming customer. He was tall. Everyone was taller than me though. I believe I was only up to his chest. He was holding a smoothie and slowly crouched on the right corner of the store. He was looking at the rabbits in the small animal compartment. As I walked closer to greet him, as a polite supervisor should be to a customer, I've noticed his curly hair and he stood and returned my greeting. I kept a smile on my face and he returned it coolly. He was adorable. I couldn't help but be attracted. I wonder if this was crush at first sight.

My other colleagues were in the back office, I had no choice but to assist him. More so I wouldn't let anybody else do it. His voice was cute, too. He wanted to buy a rabbit. I did my best sadly the rabbit was not cooperating. They were newly delivered. They were not used to people. The same as I. He chose the brown colored one. I giggled to myself that they have the same hair color. He seems to be introverted like me. I wonder if he could feel mutually, too. I always wondered how my mom and dad explained it. They felt an attraction, a spark. I wonder if that could occur to me, too. Just a few seconds and I already find you appealing. I wonder if I could find someone who'll think of me the same way.

The rabbit was about to be paid when he asked if we had fish food, too. I politely led him to the fish section. I wish he could stay longer. Wish I know more information about fish, rabbits or fish flakes. Sadly, most of the fish food tags were wrong. I couldn't do much so, I suggested the sphere ones instead. Glad he took it anyway. And finally you bought the items. I said thank you with a big smile. And you returned it, too. I wonder if you will return. Please return and buy more timothy hay. Buy more rabbit treats, buy more fish flakes, stay and ask some more. Maybe you could buy me a smoothie on the side, too?

I just wanted to say he was a beautiful person. If he feels like he is unworthy or gets insecure, I hope he hears music expressing exactly what he needs. Hopefully the brown rabbit will give him comfort, too. Because in this meager store, he brought a bit of color. I was losing to the black and greys of life. He made me happy even with the mistakes I made on the store today. I'll try harder. Maybe, I'll see you again. Same curly hair and carrying a smoothie.
