Blasto was created as a tribute pet for my crazy love for the Mass Effect series. This character was a bit of a joke and first appeared in Mass Effect 2. He is claimed to be the first Hanar Spectre with an Elcor partner named Bubin.
I always loved running into the billboards and hearing the advertisements for the Blasto films throughout the Mass Effect games. The thought of a slinky Hanar running around guns blazing was just something I thought would be simply amazing. The added touch where they put Blasto into the 3rd game's DLC Citadel was like a dream come true and a great touch.
