Butterfly fly away, I will love and miss you always Nana <3

You had a zest for life. You loved butterflies and flowers. You taught me to play spades, sing hymns as ironic as Amazing Grace. But that was who you were, amazing Grace. There was not a moment in our lives together that we didn't enjoy each other's company. We always had fun together and with as many grandchildren as you had you always made me feel special and like I was the favorite. You always baked me my favorite pie whenever I wanted, and we would always laugh together. I would watch you knit and sew, and you would try and teach me what you were doing so I could one day have those skills too. I didn't obtain either of those skills, but you didn't love me one bit less for it.

On rainy days when I was stuck in the house playing my Nintendo you would watch even though you had no interest in gaming because your generation didn't have that privilege. You just enjoyed my company and I enjoyed yours. I had naps on your couch so many times and you never disturbed me not once. I genuinely believe you enjoyed our time together no matter what it was. You always supported me no matter what situation I was in right up until you could no longer speak words to me. You were always so proud of everything that I accomplished no matter how big or small. You would light up when I came to visit you at the long-term care home. Even more so when I brought my little girl. I am so glad you got to meet her. It makes me sad knowing you won't get to see her grow up. You lived a long and relatively heathy life. 98 years is nothing to be ashamed of. For 30 of those years, I got to know you, love you and now I have so many memories that I will cherish forever and until my last breath.

I hope you are back to being your vibrant self and wherever your soul ends up it will surely bring all of your light and joy with it. You touched so many of your children's lives, grand and great-grandchildren's lives. We will all love and miss you for eternity.

Rest in peace amazing Grace, we will meet again someday and there will be love and laughter between us again.
