Elliot works as a manager of a small grocery store. The horrible scars on his face and body come from a freak bike accident he had when he was 13. He'd rather not talk about it, so don't ask about it, alright?

He's not good with kids, mostly because they're always asking him things like how he likes to cook brains. Sam doesn't eat brains, let's get that straight. He eats what we eat, you know? Chicken and hamburgers and salads and stuff. Where do you kids even come up with that stuff? You see a guy with some rotting flesh and you just assume that he's a zombie. Didn't your mother ever teach you not to point?

Sam can't get a date because all there's not a girl in town that would want to bring him home. Most girls have little brothers or sisters and can't stand even the sight of him. He's not self-conscious or anything but come on, you know? Give a guy a break. He can't help what he looks like. No, you can't touch his scars, don't be crazy.

Last time he had a girlfriend was two years ago. They were pretty serious but it ended pretty badly. She invited him over to her house and well, she just so happened to be babysitting her four year old cousin. The kid took one look at Elliot and practically peed his pants. There was screaming and shouting and the kid even started throwing building blocks at him. Crazy, ain't it? Elliot didn't think so. That kid had a real arm on him, bruised up poor Mr. Elliot. Almost took an eye out even.

But lately, there's been this...girl who's been hanging around him. She's real pretty and doesn't seem to mind the fact that Sam's undead...I mean southern!! It's a southern thing, not zombie. Sometimes the accent can be off-putting!
