They carried Charm to a beautiful bedroom, then her new owner knelt down and tied a soft pink ribbon around her neck. She turned to admire herself in the mirror, finally this Feli had a home, and it was a good one!
Unfortunately it didn't take long for Charm to realise that when her owners were away working this great big mansion could get awfully lonely. Charm wandered aimlessly around the house, until one day she noticed a room she hadn't been in before. She pushed the door open to discover a nursery filled with plushies! Sixteen adorable plushies were lined up along the wall. Charm walked over and introduced herself,
"Good afternoon! I am Charm, I live here now and I think it would be lovely if we could all get together for a tea party some time"
The plushies stared at her blankly. How rude! Well, Charm would just have to teach them some manners. So every day when her owners were gone, Charm would go into the nursery and lay out a tea party. She arranged the plushies, who were far too lazy to walk for themselves, into a circle, and they chatted away for hours. Charm liked to seat herself next to Imogen the Ichbit, as they were best friends (don't tell the others though, they'll get jealous).
THE GUESTSTony the Tumbell knew how to get on Charm's nerves as he always knocked over his teacup. Louise the Love Monkey Plushie always had the hot gossip, and it was no secret that her and Chloe the Celebratory White Bunny Plushie had beef with each other. Wallace the White Soft Lamb Pillow Plushie would probably be considered the quiet one, but once he had a couple of mugs of tea in him he'd be the life and soul of the party! Wendy the Wintery Popoko Plushie was one of those who Charm felt obliged to invite, but she talked about herself far too much. Fiona the Flaopy Plushie on the other hand, well she was just a barrel of laughs. Olivia the Oddly Adorable Plushie had a tendency to be a bit selfish, but she really came through for Percy the Pink Yarn Octopus Plushie when one of his legs fell off. Susan the Snugglephant Plushie just laughed, of course, and boy did she have a loud laugh on her. Her sister Elsie the Beautiful Elephant Ballerina Doll was exactly the opposite - very serious and rarely cracked a smile. Nina the Sunbunny Plushie could barely keep her eyes open during the tea parties, always trying to take a sneaky nap. Steve the Sockimi was the brains of the tea party, although Richard the Tiger Plushie and his best friend Leo the Spring Lion Plushie never missed an opportunity to point out the rare times Steve would be wrong.
They were a great bunch of friends, and Charm knew they'd be friends forever. Her owners had started coming into the nursery more and more and rearranging things, which bothered Charm somewhat. They would say odd things like,
"a couple more months to go", and,
"it's going to be a boy", whatever that meant. Charm's pretty sure they're just going a bit crazy.
