One night, I returned to my study after a long journey to find a rare book. Within my chambers, I found a small Kizzal curled atop my desk! He seemed quite fond of prowling the area and keeping pests away from messing up my collections, so I decided to keep him around. Isha guards my place ferociously when I'm abroad. It's a Hindi name meaning "protector" and I think it suits him quite well.

Kazzen (KAA-zin, rhymes with "jazzin' "... or something...) is yet another spur-of-the-moment name. My owner tells me it was going to be Kazzer, but that was already taken and sounded too harsh. The rough "r" became a gentler "n" and it stuck.
