Personality: Maki is very outgoing and bouncy, which can unfortunately lead to accidents happening around her. Knocking things over, making a mess etc. It was expected around her a lot of the time. She enjoys socialising, and can be very touchy/feely with people(not in the creepy way XD). The majority of her friends although, are guys which leads to trouble with their girlfriends sometimes. She tries to avoid physical confrontation. She is a logical thinker and prefers a verbal debate, and can 9/10 usually manipulate a situation into that. She has an usual accent, which sounds somewhere between French and American.
When it goes beyond friendly flirting to getting personal and intimate with someone, she can get very uncomfortable. She believes strongly in nothing lasts forever, apart from friendship. Maki has never had anything more than a couple of dates, and she's glad of that. She fears getting hurt.

Biography: Maki was brought up inbetween provinces of Ontario and Québec during a young age, before moving into an entirely different province of Alberta. Her parents have been happily together through her whole life. Moving kept everything different, there were no routines to fall into. Due to her time living in Québec she speaks a fair amount of french, though she gets a little rusty at it at times.
As she turned 12, her family stuck to one place in Alberta. It was a quiet little village next door to one of the busiest cities in the province. She finally settled into a highschool, in which she banded with a group of guy friends. Her parents had a traditional mindset, and didn't approve at first, but they realised there wasn't much they could do about it.
Maki specifically made a great friendship with one guy. He was charming, and had a sarcastic and somewhat black sense of humor that she was attracted to for reasons she couldn't fathom. She lost her virginity to him when she was 16. She wanted it to be 'given' to someone she knew she would always have in her life, and she knew from the other guy friends around her boyfriends weren't forever.
Maki moved out of her parent's home soon after she left school, though only a few blocks away. She currently works in a posh coffee boutique in Calgary.

Human/Anthro; Maki has expresso coloured hair, often mistaken for black hair. It comes just below her shoulders and she usually straightens it, although sometimes she leaves the natural waves in. She has similarly coloured eyes, though the brown also has a red hue to it. She wears an off-shoulder hot pink top, a silver chain around her neck and a silver charm blacelet on her right wrist, filled with random charms. She also wears a small black leather belt, with navy blue skinny/straight jeans, and blank ankle boots.
Quad; Scarlet fur on her back and front legs, an ember flame pattern comes from her hind legs and base of her feet. One flame flicker passes over an eye. She has the ability to make large flame/feather wings appear on her back and fly with them, though it takes a lot of her energy to do so.
