Personality: Phari's personality tends to deviate between perpetually grumpy and excessively flirtatious. He is easy to socialize with, but difficult to get close to, as he lets very few people past his walls. He appears friendly and carefree, but is host to a lot of trauma and darkness the likes of which few know. He is a keeper of many secrets, which only precious few have seen the tiniest of glimpses of. Phari enjoys surrounding himself with people, which seems to keep his mind off of his many bad memories. When that doesn't work, he turns to alcohol or physical intimacy with acquaintances or strangers - never with anyone he sees on a daily basis. It is not surprising then that his closest confidante is his bartender, as Armine is the only one who sees him at his weakest.

Phari's daily life is a cycle: wake up late with a hangover, deal with patients, drink with strangers, repeat. He doesn't like dramatic changes to his schedule or emergency situations despite his occupation. He loses his cool, in the form of bad temper, at the sound of screaming or loud bangs, an indicator of his post-traumatic stress disorder that he vehemently denies having. He is a man too smart for his own good, as he knows how to properly take care of himself and refuses to. He is far better at taking care of others rather than himself, and those who care could assume that he would rather not think about himself at all. He has a quick wit, often trading banter with those who know him. Phari hates bothersome things, which includes but is not limited to: children, cooking, cleaning, fighting, pandering, and love.

He is generally pleasant in appearance and mannerism, but his smile is taut, his laugh dry, and his eyes old. There are few who can really make him look alive, and his relationships with them are a lot less physical and far more emotional. He is inclined to pull himself back when he realizes he truly enjoys being around someone, and tries to deny any ideas of emotional intimacy. If he loves someone, that will make it easier to hurt them or lose them, and Phari does not like taking chances. He would really rather avoid everything and enjoy the smooth music and cocktails at Armine's lounge. However, when it comes down to doing the right, bothersome thing or taking the easy way out, Phari will often choose what is morally correct.

Appearance: Phari has a unique appearance, even in a world full of unusual-looking people. He has knee length pure white hair, which he is very proud of and refuses to cut. He often has some of the women he knows (from easy, no-strings relationships) or his apprentice style it for him. His eyes are a deep gold, and his skin is pale. His wardrobe is mainly white and gold, and he prefers to wear comfortable robes instead of the normal trousers and vest. He is determined to one day make a trend of wearing dressing gowns in public. Really, he just prefers to be comfortable, and changing his clothing is bothersome. He is tall and elegant in appearance, slender from his poor dietary habits (cooking is such a hassle.) He somehow manages to keep his all-white wardrobe in pristine condition, which is no small feat.

*Mahuri are a dragon-like species known for their gem-like scales. All humanoid species in the world are some combination of human and animal, as combining species' genetics was the only way to guarantee that humanity endured after nearly destroying the planet and themselves. The type of hybrid is important in determining biological compatibility and potential for yielding offspring, as many species are incompatible despite all appearing human.

*Natalborn individuals are those born of the traditional union of two people. This is worth noting because there are also those referred to as Earthborn, whom are individuals born directly from nature itself, without any parents save for the planet. It is thought that Earthborns are the bodies of the dead and buried, repurposed with new life by the spirit of nature, though this is unproven.
