Axander, the Paint Maker

Axander is one of those people who are born with an amazing talent. He learned early in his life that he was especially skilled at making paints. You wouldn't think something that mundane would require much skill, after all you're pretty much just grinding dyes together and mixing it with water. Axander himself isn't a painter but his mother was and as a chick he used to watch her paint intricate designs on bits of shells or rocks or really anything smooth she could find in the forest. The paints she used weren't the best for such projects though so Axander set about finding her some new materials to work with.

It took quite some time to get the initial process down, but eventually he worked out the proper ratio of dyes, binders, and fillers to make a truly durable and vibrant paint. Before long they were quite well known and artists flocked to the forest to get a jar of Axander's paint.

Art Details

Overview: Axander is world-renowned maker of paints. He himself is no artist, but he still greatly enjoys making the medium. He makes his paints using traditional methods, mainly using berries, flowers, and anything else he can get pigments from.
