Vesnali 2017, morning. Clear sky.

Spring has risen.

omnibless took to walking all of her companions through the Peka Glade. They were an untidy bunch with no order in their promenade. Just a whirlwind of chaotic happiness that fit well with the idyllic pasture. There was one rule - all pets must be kept in visible and audible range of her. She trusted them to behave. Everyone scattered in admiration of their surroundings. So much fauna and distracting aromas for each way the breeze swayed. A few of them took to splashing the reservoir's precious water when she wasn’t looking. Looked like more rules were necessary. The wind shifted and a mist from the reservoir’s direction alerted her. She turned back to scold them.

Nearby, a naughty Scribble Experiment #2285 found a stone with a peculiar markings hidden among the tall grass. He stared at it for a while, inspecting the stone with his eyes and then his nose. Soon he gently lifted the stone up. What is this and what does it do?

The stone seemed lighter than most and not as dense as one should be. Growing frustrated of its immobility Kid raised it over his head and began shaking it in his fist. It made rattling noises! This amused him. “DIE!” ;1 he shouted continuing his short burst of frenzy. He took a little break but was still feeling aggressive. He raised his paw once again to rattle it again when sudden crackling disrupted him. Lowering his arm the egg was now cupped by his two paws. He stopped moving but the stone kept twitching and crumbling bit by bit as he watched. He wanted to show everyone it before his new toy broke completely.

“Umm, you guuuuys?! HELP!”

He turned away from the tall grass to run but tripped face-forward towards the ground. The stone fell out of his paws landing inches in front of him. His friends came and looked at him wondering how he had toppled over. Kid kept his eyes on the stone.

--- A molten creature emerged from the stone breathing rapidly and blinking stickily. It sees MettlesomeKid’s face and inches towards him, wetting his nose in an embrace.

“Gross! You Egg… ._.”

Kid picks up the oozing fragile thing and carefully placed it back in what’s left of its shell. He watched over it the rest of the day, curiously fond of his new minion. Kid was careful to show everyone how tough he still was, scowling whenever he noticed his friends adoring him and his little buddy. He was not one to be thought of as cute! D:
