I was at the club looking around, after all the Vampire King has to feed. After a few hours there, this girl got on stage and started to dance, she was pretty good at it and of course in a metter of minutes everyone at the club was hypnotized by her moves, and as much as i hate to admit it, so was I.
But didn't took me more than seconds to realize that even if she was dancing and smiling, there was something wrong, i could easily see the sadness behind the eyes, that girl got by some pretty harsh times... what bothered me though was the fact that i couldn't turn my eyes away, something was keeping my focus on her, and i hate when that happens.
As funny as it looks she tried to make me jealous dancing with my the guy that was near me. After she stopped to dance and everyone else stupidly tryied a chance with her i got after her to talk, i needed to find out what this stupid mortal could have to keep the strongest vampire in the planet full attention for almost two hours.
Well, i found out after get closer to her, that the blood didn't smell like a normal mortal one, that little creature was definitely a Nephlim (half angel, half human). They usually have the best blood a vampire can find, and lets say that i have a special vendetta against this particular species, so it was pretty easy to reconize the scent.
After a little time of chit-chat, with her cleary lying about everything i asked (can you blame a girl for doing that at a club with a stranger?), i decided that i needed to know more about that little creature, it was interesting seeing her trying to hide all that sadness, i was curious about all that, she didnt even seem to know what she was.
Well, after two thousand years, curiosity wasn't something i had a lot, so it was enough to get me entertained.
And this is how all started to go down in flames
