The Aibo Academy student council's office. Usually, you'd walk past it as quickly as possible, but not today.
You take a deep breath, and you...

• Knock.
• Enter.

Story 3

As you step into the office, you see movement from the couch, where the student council president groggily sits up and opens his eyes, and snaps to attention.
"Nnh.. huh? ..Hey, just what do you think you're doing in here without permission!? I'll have you know that trespassing is strictly against school rules! Now, leave immediately, before I have you expelled!!"

You wait for a response.
"...."
Maybe if you knock again...

• Knock again.
• Enter.

Story 5

You hear the rustling of fabric as a voice calls out from behind the door.
"...Sofia? Is that you? Did you bring me the snack that I asked for?"

• "Yes, Sir, it's me, Sofia, and I brought you your favourite.. uhm.. takoyaki."
• Explain who you are.

Story 6

"I don't care who you are, you'll have to book an appointment like every other student. Now, I don't suppose there's anything else..?"

• Leave.
• "You.. mentioned wanting a snack?"

Story 7

"Hah! 'Sir', that's more like it! Now, give it here, I'm starving!"
The door slides open, revealing the student council president's beaming face, which quickly shifts to one of confusion, and then to annoyance.
"You're not Sofia! What're you trying to pull? Get out of here, before I lose my temper!
• Leave.
• "Ah! Uhm, you.. you mentioned wanting a snack?"

Story 8

"I did, didn't I? You know what, bring me some takoyaki from the cafeteria, and I'll see if I can book you a spot immediately."

• "I'm on it!"
• "You know what, never mind. I'm leaving."

Story 9

"I did. Bring it to me, and I might forgive your transgression. I can only hope that your memory's good enough to remember what you've just offered me so graciously."

• "Yes, Sir.."
• "You know what, never mind. I'm leaving."

Story 10

You leave the office building, and head towards the cafeteria. Dang, that's going to be money out of your pocket. As you enter the building and see the food, your stomach rumbles, and you remember that you missed lunch. What do you get?

• The takoyaki.
• The takoyaki, and a sushi platter for me!
• Forget this, I'll just get myself a bean bun and go home.

Story 11

You return to the office, payment in tow. The president is standing in the doorway, tapping his foot impatiently.
"Took you long enough. Well, at least you actually listen, unlike someone.."
He grabs the food, and motions for you to enter.

• Walk into the office.

Story 12

The two of you enter the room, and the president puts the takoyaki aside and sits down at his desk, folding his hands with his elbows resting on the surface.
"Now, what can I do for you today?"

• "Are.. you going to eat that?"
• "My deck was confiscated earlier, can have it back?"

Story 13

"Yes, well, ..hm. You didn't.. actually take that long delivering, so the batter's probably still burning hot, and I don't want to--"
He stops talking to make a pained face.
"Anyways, I'm sure you didn't come here just because you wanted to bring me food out of the kindness of your heart...?

• "--Right. My deck was confiscated earlier, can have it back?"

Story 14

"Your deck, is it? Though this is a buddyfighting school, skipping class to fight another student during school time is not only not allowed, it's detrimental to your education. Still, seeing as the day is over, I guess I'm obligated to return it to you."
He opens a drawer in his desk, and pulls out your familiar deck box, sliding it across to you. You pick it up, feeling the weight of the cards in your hand.
• Look inside.• Take it and leave.

Story 15

You look through your deck and only count 48 cards, realizing you're missing your Armorknight Demon playset. The student council president gives you a bored look.
"Anything else..?"

• "That's it!"
• "It's missing some cards."

Story 16

"Is it? Maybe you dropped them when you and your little friend were playing hooky, or something."

• "You took them, didn't you?"
• "You're right, I'd better go look."
• Scan the office.

Story 17

"You'd accuse ME of such an act? As if I'd tarnish my reputation as student council president just to get my gloves on your grubby cards! I let you, a.. delinquent.. into my office, and this is what I get? I guess it's to be expected. You're probably trying to trick me into paying for your losses, aren't you? I bet they aren't even lost! Speaking of being lost, it's something you should get!"

Story 18

You scan the room, and your eyes land on a toppled deck of cards on a bookshelf, among which you can see.. Armorknight Demon!
The president catches on to what you're doing quickly.
"Don't look at those, that's my Danger World deck. You remember when I used it in the ABC Cup last year, don't you? Besides, I only have one copy of Demon, look."
He picks up the deck, and sorts through each card, showing you.
"Now, you better run off, don't want anyone to steal those cards you left lying around, do you?"
The president puts the cards away and sits down, picking up the takoyaki and eating it in front of you, only to remind you again of how hungry you are.
• Leave.

Story 19

You return to the office, takoyaki in one hand, and sushi tray in the other. The president is standing in the doorway, and his face lights up as he sees you approaching.
"Hah! Really trying to spoil me, aren't you? Don't worry, I'll graciously accept!"
He grabs all of the food before you can interject, and ushers you inside with a bounce in his step. You sigh as you hear your stomach grumble, and...• Walk into the office.

Story 20

The two of you enter the room, and the president puts the takoyaki aside and gets ready to eat your beloved sushi.
"Now, what can I do for you today?"

• "About that sushi, I was--"
• "My deck was confiscated earlier, can have it back?"

Story 21

He shoves a piece of sushi into his mouth.
"--Hm?"

• "I was going to ea--"
• "I'm really hungr--"
• "Could we.. maybe sha--"
• "..Never mind. My deck was confiscated earlier, can have it back?"

"Ah, your deck! You're the one who was buddyfighting during class, weren't you? That'd be why you're here! Alright, since school is over, and you've made such a good effort to get to me, I'll return it to you."
He opens a drawer in his desk, and pulls out your familiar deck box, sliding it across to you. You pick it up, feeling the weight of the cards in your hand.

Story 23

"Hmm.. Let me just check again.. Sorry, those are all of the cards I'm detaining right now. Maybe you dropped them when you were fighting?"

• "You took them, didn't you?"
• "You're right, I'd better go look."
• Scan the office.

Story 25

As you look around the room, president Shido starts to seem more occupied with his.. your.. sushi... than he is with you. Maybe you can look around while he's focused on eating?

• Look at the bookshelf.
• Look at the desk.
• Look at the cabinet.
• Leave.

Story 26

You walk up to the bookshelf, and your eyes land on a toppled deck of cards on one shelf, among which you can see.. Armorknight Demon!

• Take the cards.
• Ask Shido about them.
• Look elsewhere.

Story 27

The extra food isn't as distracting as you hoped, as you try to take the cards from just to the right of his desk.
What on Earth do you think you're doing with my Danger World deck!? I see, so the sushi was just to distract me so that you could steal RIGHT from under the student council's nose! You're a shame to your school, you know that? Now, get out! I'll be in here, enjoying MY cards, and MY sushi!"• Cont.

Story 28

"Oh, those? That's my Danger World deck. You know, the one that I used in last year's ABC Cup. Besides, I only have one copy of Demon, look."
He picks up the deck, and sorts through each card, showing you, puts it in a desk drawer, and returns to eating.
• Look at the desk.
• Look at the cabinet.

Story 29

You look on top of the president's desk, and spy an eerie looking deck case with an oddly realistic and menacing eye.. Something deep inside of your mind seems to be telling you that the cards are in there.
• Pick up the deck case.
• Ask Shido about it.
• Look elsewhere.

Story 30

You touch the deck case as you feel something surge through you. The student council president doesn't seem to be eating any more, but smiling straight at you.
"I knew it, I knew someone like you would be a perfect fit. A weak-willed delinquent, could there be anyone more suited to cause chaos? Though, at this point, I'm really amassing quite the collection.. or, should I say, 'collections'?"
You hear a click as Magoroku Shido presses a button behind his desk, opening a trap door right below your feet, and sending you plummeting towards whatever it is that lies below Aibo Academy, and towards whoever, or whatever, waits below.

Story 31

"Oh, I'd forgotten about that one! Maybe your cards are in there, let me look.."
He shuffles through the cards in the case, and looks at you.
"Ah, yes! Here they are! Armorknight Demon!"
He hands you the deck case.
• Take it.

Story 32

You walk to the end of the room opposite of the desk, and look through the glass cabinet doors. Inside, on one shelf, you can see.. what appear to be three copies of Armorknight Demon, and not only that, but one has a small familiar marking on it. There's no doubt in your mind, THOSE are your cards.
• Take them.
• Ask Shido about them.
• Look elsewhere.

Story 33

You open the glass door, and reach in to grab your cards.
"What are you doing? You're not allowed access to the contents of that cabinet!"
You hear Shido's voice as you snatch the cards and run, too far away from the desk to be caught.
Just as you hear a "Get them back, Gallows!", you bolt out the door, hearing an odd chuckle, but you're met with no resistance. You still run out of the school just in case, and arrive at the boundary line, when you hear it. A deep, guttural gurgle. There's something getting closer.
Dinner time.

• Fin.

Story 34

"Oh, uh.. those? Say, when'd you get over there? Come back over here, or go get me some orange juice or something. There's nothing in that cabinet, just boring old paperwork."
You know you see your cards, he's lying through his teeth.
"I'm serious, those are classified documents, so stop looking! If you don't, I'll--"Something starts moving in the corner of your eye, and Shido sees it, too. You turn your head to see that piece by piece, the takoyaki appears to be disappearing into the darkness, which Magoroku starts to yell at. A perfect opportunity.
• Grab the cards.
