Sky was born a very little Legeica. Throughout her childhood she was always the smallest in the class, and her little wings couldnâ€™t have lifted even a Wyllop of the ground, never mind a Legeica. The other Legeicas would make fun of Sky because her wings were too small for flight. Sports classes were the worst, where Sky spent her days sat on the bench, unable to join the others in a game of flying dodgeball or air football.

Her parents were worried that Sky would never fly, but thankfully after lots of waiting her lazy wings began to grow. Over the months they grew bigger and bigger until finally they were big enough for flight.

At first Sky could only fly small distances, but after plenty of practice she was able to fly as well as any Legeica. One day when Sky was feeling particularly adventurous she decided to fly above the clouds; she flew higher and higher when suddenly she heard a loud whooshing noise as an aeroplane zoomed overhead, narrowly missing Sky.

Sky had never seen such a thing, she had heard about aeroplanes but had never seen one before. How can something so massive possibly fly!? Sky was amazed, and decided to chase after the aeroplane and fly alongside it.

Since then Sky has always had a fascination with aeroplanes, and enjoys flying with them. Sometimes she goes right up to the windows to look at everyone inside. She gives the passengers quite a fright!

Sometimes Sky gets a little too close to the aeroplanes, and from time to time she gets her tail chopped off by the propellers. Her friends make fun of her stumpy tail, but Sky doesnâ€™t mind, and sheâ€™s getting better at dodging the propellers.

Sky collects model aircrafts and her room is full of aeroplane toys and posters. She enjoys aircraft model kits, but they are definitely not designed for pets with hooves. Most of Skyâ€™s completed kits look nothing like the pictures on the boxes, but she does try!
